Scratch what I said earlier, plans have changed so I should be able to make the race. My internet has been acting up this morning, but I'm hoping it sorts itself out before the race. I may not be able to qualify in which case I'll start from the back.

All times added to the input sheet. 👍

Green had a 1:31.605 btw

and Aderrrm's currently on pole with a sackslapping 29.978 on a lap where he messed up.

There a room up? Looking for a steward. Though I'm tempted to just start at the rear. Best I've managed so far is a 1:34.8xx. How the heck are you guys hitting 1:30?

Sorry I didn't get a race info up guys, totally spaced it. Here's the Division 1 room number:

1472-6118-4130-9221-9658

Sorry guys, my Dad came up for a surprise visit, I'll have to skip this one.
Sorry for the late notice, lost track of time.

brosif... If I make the final you're going to have to coach me. I just bleed time here. Aderrrm runs away; wardez and carracer slowly chipped away a car-length a lap, then I mysteriously lost all kinds of ground in the pit-shuffle and made my only real mistake of the race on the last lap to throw away a shot at finishing where I started. :(

Well that was a sweaty race. Literally, I went and changed all my clothes as soon as I crossed the line.

Good stuff.

Congrats Adam, have another drink

Such a horrible race, didn't help it's one of my least favourite tracks too.

Nice one on the win though Aderm!

My race went down the drain after I crashed, I then totally lost interest and ended up pitting 3 or 4 times to repair damage :yuck:. Sorry for my terrible driving towards the end.........:ill:

Race Report

Very happy to finish my first FMSC race where I didn't crash, get damaged, or take somebody out. :dopey:

In the opening laps, I'd yet to test my car in a draft after switching to a modified version of CLS's tune. Wasn't prepared for Aderm's draft-induced understeer. Luckily, that didn't last long, as he quickly pulled over a second lead.

In clear air, I could run my laps. Started to drag out a bit of a gap on Wardez. Then, since, again, I had never tested my car past four laps after the new tune, I really wasn't used to the tire wear. When the tires started to change, I lost concentration and missed quite a few shift points (changed the transmission completely five minutes before I qualified, haven't used it much since), diminishing any gap I had between Wardez and myself. Then, when I got used to it, he was completely glued to my bumper. I was beginning to wonder if he'd tossed a grappling hook across and I was actually towing him.

These were probably my favorite laps of the race because I was actually racing. Sadly, I still wasn't completely used to the tires, or the new transmission. I'd like to thank him for not just barging by me, even though I was obviously slowing us down. When I eventually made large enough mistakes, he passed, and I never saw him again.

Then the real tire wear set in and my lap times, as well as quality, went to the gutter. Couldn't wait to pit.

Lost decades of time in the pits. I really wish we had a Fire Pit Crew option. Also, maybe a Steal Pit Crew option. I'd be more than willing to pay top dollar for Wardez's pit crew :sly:.

The following laps were just time trials, trying to keep my laps in low 31s. This time around, I knew what to expect from the wearing tires so I felt quicker. Started to gun down Wardez's lead over me. At one point, I thought I could catch up to him and make this a race for the finish. Then I messed up at the corkscrew, badly cutting it, had to let off and let him go. Then my laps were mundane from there.

Aderrrm completely wasted the field, but got damaged late in the race, resulting in the gap being closed to only 8-10 seconds. Still, as normal, had a commanding win.
