You can race at my place lol. I have a second ps3 and a friends Dfgt here lol

I ended up having him watch my show and then we went karting the next day at Pole Position. He's (and his friend) are fast in real life too xD.

Good luck to every one in the race tonight. Update the Twitter yeah!?

That bites! I was at Turn 3 the car in front of me flashes like it is ghosting. Then while I am on the short straight between Turns 3 and 4 screen goes black and boom -- I'm no longer in race or lobby.

I was hoping to get as much time as possible on this track 'cause I won't be in the championship round there.

Good luck to everyone who is currently running.

Rich got it. Brosif was closing ever so slowly then after they lapped a car Brosif had an off and had to pit for damage. Was shaping up to be a great battle.

Ah man, must've been rattling. Great job holding it together and finally taming the screw Rich my man!

Well today has been hands down my worst race day ever. I turned my first lap on this track this morning, only got in about 15-20 laps in before qualifying. First flyer was slow, second flyer was feeling real good until I looped it into the wall coming out of the corkscrew. At least I still got to race. Unfortunately, tonight was the worst I've ever driven, absolutely no consistency. The only bright side is that I'm pretty sure I managed to get out of everyone's way when I was getting lapped, sometimes I even drove off the track just to make sure I didn't mess up anyone else's race. I was still planning to race until the end, and actually hit my personal best lap on one of the last laps I ran. Then the plug for my pedals came out, so I just steered into the pits while I fixed it. The next lap, I was all over the place, I decided to just go park in the pits, didn't want to take the chance of ruining anyone's race. At least there were some good battles to watch at the end.

Good job outlaw on your second straight win. By your theory and the law of averages, this means you won't win another until 2014, right? :)

lol J, that's right about outlaw, he can't ever complain again!

Win just once...

Started 5th, spun on lap 3, fell all the way to last, worked my way back up to 8th, choked on 2nd last lap and went to 9th.

all the summary you need. I finally figure this track out, and I have nothing to show for it....

At this rate, my next win will be when GT6 comes out.

I reserve the right to whine. :P

Compared to last week, this race was a constant nail-biter. My start was okay, but Brosif had a great start, so no chance for Owens in holding him up. Soon, he was right on a bumper and made an attempt at T5. I was able to get on the inside just enough that I held him off. Then I pulled away slowly, getting a 2 second lead. However, Brosif matched my pace lap after lap. Sometimes, I gained a few hundredths, but lost them again and then some before increasing my lead again. My eyes kept glue on the screen, watching the split time move up and down like a see-saw.

I knew that Brosif could pit early, and eliminate the gap with a fast out lap so I pitted a lap earlier than I wanted. He followed me in, but my stall was before his, so I held him up. However, my teammate, Owens, was on pit road when I left so he negated whatever advantage I would have gained. Again, the gap was a little over 2 seconds. The fight was still on.

Then I confronted one of my weaknesses, dealing with lap traffic. My lead disappeared in chunks, down to around 1.5 seconds by around Lap 25 or so, and then just over a second by around Lap 29-30 at T5. Spotting about 2-3 cars just off the distance battling for position, I was in big trouble. He was going to be right on my bumper. When I hit T6 the best I had all race, I had the luxury of glancing at my rear view. I saw Brosif going just a tad too wide on exit, catching the dirt, resulting in wheelspin. He hooked left, sending him slamming into the wall. Part of me was relieved, as I could finally relax my nerves after 30+ minutes, since 3rd place, Owens, was 20 seconds behind. However, I was also bummed that it had to end that way, because it would have likely been an epic finish.

From then on, I caught up to a great battle for what looked liked 8th-10th, and given my big lead, I backed off to let them race without me interfering. That was fun to watch until I took the checkers with a 15 second gap. With Owens finishing 2nd, it was a perfect finish for the team, winning at what is our home track. :)

I will say that I'm going to need a faster setup if I have any hope of finishing 2nd (to Adam) in the championship race. My car was quite consistent, but couldn't even beat my Q time. :boggled:

...and thanks to my choke job, Team Canada took a big hit in the Team points :(

* = Just noticed we have 3 drivers for Fox Motorsports. Obviously it's GrayFox's team, so either Sagaris or DeadMansHand will need to join a different team or create their own. Once you guys decide what you want to do, I will update everything accordingly.
If I'm not mistaken, that might be your mistake? DeadMansHand is registered under the team name "RIP Racing Team". You may have copy/pasted my info onto his: we both joined before Tokyo and he was flying the Canadian flag for a while as well.

Yeah, I have no idea how I ended up listed as a Canadian Fox. Lol :)
Makes no difference where I land. Put me in as RIP Racing or send me to someone with no team mate. It's all good, all racin'.

Awesome job by outlaw on 2 in a row. I can tell wins are tough with this crowd! See ya next week.

It was my fault for not getting my qualy in. Had I qualified I would have started in the top 5, and probably would have had a shot at a podium, getting us some more team points.

That being said, I'm hungry for a good result at Indy now. Gotta get back on track and grab another podium ;)

Hmmm not sure what happened there. I'll fix it when I get back to a computer.

After a strong push from RDS it looks like we need a good finish at Indy to get back on top of the pile Bro. I've been surprisingly good at IMS in recent races there so I'm not going to accept anything less than a podium from myself. Go Purple!

Yeah I face-palmed myself at Laguna by spinning into the inside tire wall on Rahal.

Congrats, again, to outlaw, Owens, and Erick on their podium finishes. I had the hardest time following in the draft so after my early attempt to pass outlaw failed I decided I would lag back a bit and try to maintain a two to three second gap.

I actually did manage to lose around three seconds during the pit sequence and was about five seconds (I think) back of outlaw. I was only getting intermittent intervals from timing & scoring which was very frustrating because while I was trying to close the gap, I didn't want to use up my tires.

It was all for naught with my lap 30 spin which left me with engine and suspension damage. I exited the pits some 40 seconds back of outlaw and out of sight of Owens and Erick. Starting the last lap I was two seconds back of Erick and heading into the penultimate corner I thought I might be able to make a run to the line and eek past Erick and his old tires. Well, I ran wide on the exit from Turn 10 but when I slowed for Turn 11 my car behaved as if it had clean rubber. I got a good drive through the middle of the corner and could tell that Erick slowed a lot to make sure he didn't run wide. When I jumped back on the gas all I was left with was wheel a smokey burnout and a fourth place finish. I guess the tires weren't clean after all.

These late races challenge my ability to remain focused due to it being so close to my bedtime. I find myself thinking about how I need to focus but will then miss a braking point due to thinking about how I need to focus. It's a vicious cycle.

Off to IMS and its boring, flat road course.
