I see Sers_90 disconnected from the D2 race. Can someone find out which lap he disconnected on and his fastest lap.

Thanks.

D1 results are up... Tony walks away with the championship but R1600Turbo gets the fast lap bonus with the 3rd fastest 2:27 but the fastest one that was clean. (just barely btw... you toed the line coming out of blancemont).

Good season everyone. 👍

Not that it matters anyways, but how is my lap not clean? I want pictures! :P

I got to go to Greece and let Tony teach me how to drive .

Before one of his accounts got banned (when I first joined here I think), I think he was offering lessons or something. I donno

incident management thread. you cut the pants out of the entrance to eau rouge so you ended up 3-off behind the white line after you ran out of kerb. pretty easy to do.
tony tried to go into pouhon at 105 and ended up 4-off at the top of his arc.

edit: upon farther review Rich's lap is clean on his replay, his car is a about a foot father off-track on mine so there was some lag effect there.
FL bonus has been given to Rich appropriately.

everything else is up... that's all the information we're waiting on.

Wedssport sweeps both championships with tony on top of the driver table.

Congrats to Johan for being 'best of the rest'

Lap 3 ore 4 i think.
Thank you for racing with PURE. :)realy learn a lot here. :)Hope i can join you in the future to.:)

Speaking of success ballast. Instead of weight. Pull hp. there is no limit on amount pulled. Well 50%. I don't see anyone winning at half power.

If can be done relative to pp too.

Does sort of completely defeat the point of racing though...

I'm one that doesn't like it. However I do understand it. If handicap racing is your thing this was just another option.

I'd rather run heads up and get drug then win by handicapping a guy. ;)

As weight. The cars are all required to weigh so much. If driver weighs 300 pounds. That doesn't matter. These cars have weight in them and they shift that weight around for certain tracks and improve certain things.

In dirt racing we always had 500 lbs hung on the car to make weight. This weight we could put where we wanted.

So body weight makes no difference. ;)

I prefer to run without any handicaps.
I don't have to win to enjoy it or feel a sense of euphoria, If I ever managed to finish in the top 10 of any PURE event, that would be my win. We would never improve if we slowed the faster drivers down to a comfortable level.

Handicaps just help to give you new faces on the podium and make the pts battle a bit closer.

I understand everyones point of view though , we all have valid points .

I suggest we all buy plane tickets to Greece and go to Tonys driving academy .

To complete the standings, we still need the lap that Sers disconected on and his fastest lap from the D2 race. Could someone check the replay and let us know?
Cheers

I'd rather just split the entire field based on starting position (odds in one room, even in another). That way, we can have more than one winner every week. :)

Have to agree with Dave here. What do you gain from winning other than your name at the top of a leader-board? The thing I enjoy about all PURE events are that everybody is ridiculously clean, and also the fact there is a range of driving ability's so there will always be somebody to race with on your level and even being able to challenge the bigger guys to improve yourself. IMO having a leader-board just means we can keep track of the races and actually have some sort of foundation to a series, otherwise it would just be a 'what track shall we race this week?' To say i'm not racing in a series with somebody who's ridiculously good at something is a little childish (my two cents), you can't go through life with that thinking; just another thing that fuels the fire!

Same points for both rooms. I like it. Actually have mentioned it before. ;)

If people want to win, maybe have 2 half hour races, and the second race is a reverse grid based on the first race results :)

Please no, One long race. I really really enjoy the long races. Strategy and fatigue. Feel really accomplished afterwards.

Reverse grids usually result in aggressive moves for fast guys to get back up front too.
