Yes at full speed, your right. Was no need for that though.
I think an arrow is going a bit to far. I understand your frustration.
He shouldn't have even touch you on 35 or before. On 37 you could have held the brakes and not turn in as he was there. Sure you would have lost time but not wrecked. Ill get your view as well. I think your missing the point of let up when be overtaken. He was there and you could maintain your line because of that. If you were there he would have hit you in the rear or side. Instead you hit him.
If I have to move off the track to let you through, you're wrong.
It's very very simple.

Like I said, you can divebomb up someone's ass from 2 cars back, that doesn't mean you have corner rights.
If anyone disagrees, I'll be happy to provide demonstrations.

You're right 100% Dom. The passes were both forced and both dirty.

No you don't have to move off track just had to slow up more.

Are we watching the same replay. Not 2 car dive bomb ridiculous. As your both slowing hes still gaining. Hes there when you decide to turn. Look again

I get this strange feeling there is a low chance you would have avoided damage in this situation yourself.

Last I knew you had to be alongside your opponent by the braking point, Alex was clearly not. He just braked after the braking point, causing excess speed which he did not control, my car did.

Perhaps a replay with less lag would make it more clear to you.
I'm not overly fussed about this, other than the fact it seems a couple people (whether myself or alex) are at a disagreement on what the rules are. So we need to clear that up.
From what I know of the rules, every single contact we made (around 10 times in the few laps he was close enough to touch me) was his fault.

Bs it happen on lap 3 with litchi. I gave the spot he braked to hard an waited in the chicane for everyone to pass. So you are wrong. Exact same move he did to you. Want a replay of that as well. Not trying to get down on anyone. Yes he was not completely in front of you. He was there under braking in side.

I never said he was 2 cars back.
I said you can dive bomb from 2 cars back. He dive bombed from a car length back. Repeatedly, throughout the race, every chance he got.

Like I said, I can and will provide demonstrations to anyone that desires.
I have a party to throw, have a nice day. :)

Wow.
Are you the prick that slammed the brakes in front of me and pulled to the left causing me to hit them too?
Somebody decided to yank left and slam the brakes, I guess to get out of my way, I was amazed they didn't cause me damage pulling a stupid 🤬 move like that.

In case you're wondering, I won't be stopping and parking to watch everyone else race, even if you do. If someone puts me where I need to do that, they are in the wrong.

Nope. Wasnt me. Like your words though. No need to get mad at me. Name calling like a child. See your mad from the whole race before that last incident. I'm not justifying his action before. I think you got to hot and wouldn't let him pass at any cost. Especially the way your going on now about it.

You literally suggested that I pull over and stop.

Ironically, someone did that and made me hit them in this very race.
Guess that in itself tells you what an idiotic idea this is then, right?

No don't be an idiot. Why do you think you have to pull over and stop Slow down he turns in, you turn in after. Seriously!

I repeat: I DID NOT BRAKE AFTER MY USUAL BRAKING POINT.

Forgive me for the caps, but it seems this particular point got overlooked.

By the way, the only time I divebombed was lap 35 at the Harbor Chicane. I honestly thought I could pull it over, or I would not have tried it. It was not the case, and I gave the position back AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I could have kept my position and give it back AFTER the chicane, but to show Dom I knew it was not a right overtaking, I moved away DURING the chicane, even if this meant I was losing "too much time". I only attempted two proper overtaking moves, both at the same point, with one being (in my opinion) not a divebomb. Is that "repeatedly"?

In any case, have fun with your party, and Happy Birthday 👍

EDIT: During WSGTC, there was a situation where I was overtook by a driver, and there was not enough overlap with our cars during the braking, but he was inside, he had the racing line, and pushed me out of the track. This guy did not receive a penalty because he had "won the corner" by being inside and effectively outbraking me by roughly half a car. I was pissed at this, but I blamed my own "naivety". I had been too "soft" on the racetrack, and I learnt from it. Therefore, last time someone did this to me, there was no need for it to be a specific overlap between the two cars, but rather, it was needed for the overtaking driver to be able to take the corner properly. Are the rules changing now? Coincidentally, on both situations I am the one to blame? Not sure about this. I would like clarification, although I already asked for it during WSGTC, about this very same issue.

I'm just going to say on the dive bombing front no matter how big or small it may be it's still divebombing. It's a real pet hate for me as the car infront 99% of the time suffers not the divebomber :indiff:.

Do you guys need to someone for close this debate? If you continue like that, it will take large proportions and we dont want that. Thank you.

Yes, Will, you're right.

This is the main reason why I mentioned before that I didn't want to discuss this on this thread. Even if I ended up doing it anyway.

Ahh, it seems the birth date on GATE19 fooled us then!

Happy Birthday to the heir in that case :)

By the way, RayzBlayz is unfortunately disqualified for use of a turbo which is not allowed on the Arta '08.

But still PP would have been higher due to extra torques..

I did think while chasing him up the uphill straight that he was pulling away a little when I was easily catching Litchi there but just put it down to my imagination . I should trust my instincts more often :sly:.

Let's just step back and ask ourselves how respectful these videos are showing the drivers being.

PURE is about clean racing foremost. If a pass is in question or requires putting another driver into the heat then the pass should been held until a respectful situation arises.

This is our only chance at getting good racing cause wrecking and personal injury does not regulate us like real drivers. So we have to work off clean and respectful driving.

Mistakes happen. Heated moments happen. Accept responsibility and note your only human and it's happens to the best of them.

Typical Monaco business though. ;)
