Yeah... I don't think I'll be racing tomorrow. I need the time for homework/studying. You guys have a good race and hopefully they'll be a few more qualifiers.
 
I was in doubts over whether I should race this series or not, because of time constraints... So much that I missed the first race, which I wanted to be at.

Today I've realised I really shouldn't have committed to this. Even though the car is basically last season's, with less power, I find myself struggling to get decent times. I lack grip, speed, and basically everything.

It's true I'm using last season's tune, but I don't really think it should make a difference. I just don't know. It seems I have five races of suffering ahead of me.

Two dirty laps today are testament to my suffering. This feels like JGTS' second half, all over again! :(
 
I'll be on to watch laps/qualify later. Will update sign-ups before I do that.
 
Looking at those qualifying times, I should start.......5th. Yay.

Edit: brandofo, if you are reading this - I would like to qualify. You are the host of the room and don't seem to be around at the moment....

Litchi / GV: What was GV's time? His laps aren't thrown out if they were both dirty. He just gets a 5 second penalty.
 
GV had a 1:19.260 and 1:19.213 but i think they were saying both laps had an error that DQ'ed it

litchi will have to confirm what laps were clean if any

Hovering around the mid 1:20's right now. Looks like I'll qualify tomorrow.

Edit: you're kidding me. I finally hit something setup wise, go to leave the track and my game Freezes again and I lose my changes.

Sorry I wasn't able to qualify tonight, had a long day at work and now I'm at the casino spinning some reels. Same as the FMCS series, I'm hoping to get a quick Q session sometime tomorrow, but have a kart race at 11, then have to go watch Novak Djokivic destroy Murray tomorrow, this will happen at 12 cst, if it is quick enough I should be able to qualify after 2pm cst. 👍

I went too wide on the last corner of the second lap, and hit the wall on the right side of the track right before the first hairpin, up the hill.

I think that will mean a 5 second penalty, then? Whatever it has to be!
 
I'm just braking my car in with some B-spec still got 60miles to go then I'm gona been on for some practice.
 
@ turbo and mule i apologize if my room turned into an official practice room. I never intended it to. I was just trying to get a few laps in at halftime of the Kansas basketball game and left my room open. This is why i didn't post the room number in the thread.

As of yesterday i was 95% sure i wasn't going to be out of work in time but, Im more like 50/50 on making todays race which ill be starting at the back if i do make it in time. I'll know for sure by 4 o'clock. Ill keep ya posted mule.
