we have been racing with these settings for about an hour and no sign of rain yet lol

damn why when I'm away haha, would of loved to do this but I'll be on holiday

Yeh was just thinking about that, maybe it should be 50% weather for overcast as we just had blue skies at 25%

Try it if you can

I say 50% with changeability 4.

25% is always sunny. In fact, this 25% gives a rather cool sunlight :D

I agree changeability on 3 just doesn't even do anything past an hour lol.

and yes 50% does give this dark and gloomy feel which is great as we have no clue if its going to rain or not hehe

Can someone post the forecast as it looks right now? Cause that's how we'll set up the room.

Change: 4 (is that ok?)
Surface: 30% (is that ok?)
Weather: 100% (is that ok?)

It's been dry all day den so no surface water to start I don't think

There's a couple of weather links in the thread a few posts back

Change 4 and surface 0% for sure, as it's been dry all day.

As for weather... I'd say 50%, but if you guys want to go with 75% that's fine, too. 100% I think is too much.

I think with 75 it is guaranteed to be light rain straight away which is not the forecast

yes 75% will most likely start with rain which we don't want 50% is the best option as its overcast and it doesn't seem to start with rain

Yeah, I just tested 50%/4
and the gloom is nice, it started raining 3 min in and then by 20m it was @ 5% surface water. Interesting thing is that the tires don't really warm up on the damp track so it's a bit greasy as soon as the clouds burst.

Then 50% seems like the best option. It would have been my choice, too.

Then:

Weather: 50%
Surface: 0%
Changeability: 4

Are these the final settings? (Unless it suddenly starts raining on the real Spa, that is).

sounds fun lol. Damn looking forward to the race now

Uggggh forgot to post Dre's qualify time

Jess-n-Dre 2:17.173 Clean

He did so at 12am EST before deadline. I had let the dogs put came back in and planned to post. Guess dreamland came before I got to it. :( sorry Dre. Shouldn't have any effects on you though.

These settings! 👍

Three DC's today. I haven't had three DC in the last yr.

That room is messed up.

Please start new one.

If no new room then D2 pole move up. I'll join D2. I don't care. I want to race.

Well, that went completely downhill for me.........

I thought I was supposed to get better by racing here. Guess being better than average at Monza was just a fluke.

Currently parked in the pits on lap25 after crash #3.

Lessons learned:

1. Don't accelerate out of La Source. Put it in neutral and coast down the hill.
2. Don't "take it easy" on worn tires. Always pit 2 laps earlier than planned, even if it means mucking up any strategy you may have thought up of
3. Don't push after said pitstop under any circumstances. Actually, don't push at all.
