.: RACE SPECIFICS | S7 | Spa Francorchamps | 36 LAPS | JAN 22 :.

Race Specifics:
Standard OLR rules apply as always.

Pit Entry: Prior the pit entrance, there's a tight right/left s turn. When going in to the pits, make sure to stay close to the grass on your right side for optimal angle in to the pit lane. It's narrow and sorrounded by concrete. So it can be a disaster to catch a slide. Make sure to take it easy.

Pit Exit: The pit exit is short and tight. Going out from the pits with full throttle will cause your car to spin. You can cross the white line when exiting the pits, but as always you need to make sure that you do not interfere with oncomming traffic. If you do interfere, you're subject for recieving a penalty. Same goes for a car on track that cuts the white line and interfere with a car that are about to enter the track.

Track bounderies: Always stay inside the white line/red and white rumble strip with at least 2 wheels all the time.
Pouhon and Blanchimont are tricky, and going wide here gains you quite some time. Make sure to do your absolute best to stay inside the track limits. Failing to do so repetedly will result in a penalty.

Start: The start Line that we will use is located after T1, under the "TOTAL" sign. So you can all take it easy thru T1 and sort yourself on the straight leading down to Eau Rouge.

Good luck, and have fun!! 👍

Well thats 21 of 23 once Dre qualifies with Adventuruss and Alien to qualify.

So Den cant be dissapointed ;).

Adveturuss and Aliens are about to quali?

Minion is away this week and the next. Since we're not counting Minion for this weeks race, we should be 23 drivers on the board this week.

No was just stating whos left that needs to do quali to apease the great Denilsons demands :sly:.

My expectations are that ALL drivers that do not state their absence do show for the race, and quali on time. 👍

Adveturuss got married yesterday, so he will not be able to race tomorrow. Gratz to you Adven, and I hope we'll see you next week.

With that said, I'm happy with 22 drivers for this weeks race.

I PM'ed Aliens just a day agao, and he said he should race. Really dissapointed if he do not show.. :(

I'm done tracking people down.. If he want to have good quality racing, he know where we're at. 👍

Setup for teammate: :)
Move your ballast as far back as you can go before raising PP, I think "9" is the furthest it will let you. (I'm at 15 w/ballast)

+13/+8
15.8/14.8
7/6
6/7
4/4

2.0/0.9
0.00/0.00

But he was already in a place that will have good quality racing. :)

damn, I'm really gutted, the is super in the wet and I'm stuck in div2 ahhh lol. Well don't to everyone that qualified .

anyway this is my last race with you guys in this seas as I'm away from Thursday 26th - Sunday 12th (might race if I'm not too tired and you let me qualify late lol)

Hopefully everyone has practiced a bit in 100% wet conditions. 💡

I was thinking maybe we should start at 10%, so by the time the outlap is complete, the track will be around 20%. It builds quickly, as long as we don't have a crazy change rate of 9 or 10 anyway. :P

Oh crap, forgot about the wet conditions..

Anybody gonna have a room up within the next few hours for some practice? If not, I'll set one up after I'm done at the gym. 👍

I have just watched the 1971 film "Le Mans" on blu-ray and oh my god, damn them cars sound so cool. My girlfriend kept shouting to turn it down but **** that, had to make most of the blu-ray haha

back to topic I think I shall join your room scanny just to get that final bit of practice and team talk lol

Deja vu

Looks like we start dry with changeability on 3/4??

Looks like it's been dry all day with showers not really developing until race-time and beyond. So it seems that is the way to go at the start. 👍

Interesting point then!! What to do? Setting up the car for the dry and adapt the driving style? Or perhaps setting it up for a possibly wet race while suffering a bit at the start? :)
