Laguna: 1:20:9 xanavi gtr
1:21:1 yellowhat gtr

Have you tryed something else than a GT-R? Would be great to see some times from CASTROL SUPRA, Z, ENEOS etc.

Nissan AUTECH MOTUL GT-R - Specs?
It's listed as the same as others, but this is the one with stage 3 engine and limiter,(in old specs) so I don't have a stock one to check stock power, pp, etc.

The "new" AUTECH MOTUL GT-R is in it's stock form (no Engine Stage 3). It's at 1130 kg as stock, so no ballast added to it. (518 Bhp, 607 PP, 1130 Kg, PL: 100%, no allowed mods exept "Ridgity Improvement")
So by adding 30 kg to all the other GT-R's, they are all exactly the same. Very small differences between them.

NOTE: I've said it before, and I'm saying it again: Would love some laptimes (Not only by me, Joshua1994 and CSLACR. Or GT-R's for that matter) around Spa, Monaco and Suzuka. Laguna Seca and Monza is also interesting.
I would love to see times with the EPSON NSX, WOODONE ADVAN GT-R and ENEOS SC430 first hand. 👍

Remember that no one is gauranteed a sertain car. So do not practice/try one model only, cause there's a chance you wo'nt end up in it since we'll only allow 2 cars/Livery.
I'm just saying this now, cause it seems some of you only test one sertain car.
So part for me needing lap times from different cars, and part to not lock your mind to a sertain car that you might not end up in after all.

Awesome! Thanks! So you find the Z on par at current specs? Or do you think it need a tweak?

21.1 @ Laguna - Petronas SC430. :)
21.4 @ Laguna - Yellowhat GTR
21.398 @ Laguna - Xanavi Z
21.4 @ Laguna - Bandai (@ newest spec 528hp)
21.5 @ Laguna - Castrol Tom's Supra
21.8 @ Laguna - YMS Yellowhat Supra
22.2 @ Laguna - Raybrig NSX
Advan I can't get around the track good enough to tell, whatever it may have in speed, it's incredibly hard to keep from crashing for me.

Welsh brought up room speed, but idk, I created a new room afterwards with a 16player limit and ran a 21.403 in the GTR there, too.

Tested with current post 2 specs?
It seems pretty darn good imo. 👍

The BANDAI seems up to par, right?
Would also love some EPSON and ENEOS times if possible.

Regarding the ADVAN GT-R:
I'm going to give it a good few runs during the day.

A tip to get it to handle better:
Much more rear camber than you would use for the rest.. I use around 3,5.. And move the ballast around a bot too to find the needed balans in the car. 👍

Hey Spa room 2 guys, let's help Denilson out with his request and fill in the cars we used for the practice race. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay. I have been away for a few days.

I drove Nissan YELLOWHAT YMS TOMICA GT-R

A question:

It has been stated that leaving a race is unacceptable unless for an emergency. I agree absolutely.

Occasionally if I am having a real bad day and feel I am a hazard on track I will park the car up. Not leave, I never do this due to the server pause it can create for other drivers.

Is it acceptable in this series to park the car up if you feel you are becoming a hazard? Some of the tracks in the series are quite restrictive and I think it is only fair to be able to do this. Not so much for yourself but out of respect for the other competitors.

This is sort of a common thing amongst more considerate drivers in a race. We appreciate any effort put forth in order to make the other racers' lives easier.

So this is an acceptable action. The thing is that you, this goes for anyone that disconnects or drivers that are racing near someone that disconnects btw, would need to note when you "gave up" racing by marking the lap you decided to pull over on. This is because we give out completion bonus points after a race that depends on race distance covered and letting us know at what point you stopped racing really helps us get the results organized in a timely matter. But this is also easily noted by checking the number of laps you've completed in the replay.

Also, we'd appreciate that you stick around the room and check to see when the race ends so that you can exit after it's over so the countdown timer doesn't go on too long after every one's finished.

Thanks for asking Muzz.

I will test the epson and the eneos. I didnt know that car choice was random.

Yes, IDK if it's a "room" thing, or I just learned Laguna, IIRC, the best I got in WSGTC in the GTR was 21.7. And that didn't have ballast.:)
Still 3-5 tenths left out there in every car.

I think the Bandai is good.👍
I think the YMS Supra would be good at the same power and weight as the Bandai, or maybe even the full 1090kg for it's lopsided balance. Both have limited (35/60) downforce.
Broke in the Epson last night, so I should be able to try the Eneos, Advan, and Epson tonight.

Still open, I assume, my son decided to flip the switch on my modem, and I got some stuff to do anyways, bobs breaking in my Advan, here's what I have so far:

Eneos: 1:21.5xx 👍
Advan - Recommend 1100KG weight and a bit more limiter.
Epson - Recommend 1150KG weight and a bit more limiter.

Great work here guys. There is a lot of testing to do for sure. :)

For what it's worth, I do believe the online rooms make a difference. 2 nights ago I ran these laps at Laguna:

Castrol Supra - 1:21.9
Petronas SC430 - 1.21.6

Last night at Laguna:

Castrol Supra - 1.21.4
YMS Supra - 1.21.6

Based on this, I believe any comparison testing should be done in the same room at the same time to avoid the possibility of changing physics between rooms. If this is the case (or, it could be just me ;) ), then it would bring in the question of fairness with 'Live Qualifying'. Thoughts?

Hope this helps. I do have the NSX Stealth and Calsonic GTR now to test once broken in, but I'm short on cars at present. :D

The eneos has a problem imo. the turbo is killing the car.

see it as turbo lag. no power in low rpm and too much at high rpm. coming out from a corner the car seems the have wheel spin without actually spinning the wheel. just like turbo lag from overpowered supras in real life.

tyre wear is more pronounced. i guess engine part 3 would do better.

I think if you re-run the Petronas you'll see a decent gain from your first night. I've been setting these last two rooms to 16, so that didn't affect the laps.(made another last night to check that) It'd be nice if somebody else created a room at some point to see if it's different then, but I can't get on for a good 5 hours at least.

I do think maybe turbo stage 2 with no limiter might do the job, with a more natural powerband. Engine stage 3 will keep the powerband pretty narrow, similar to high turbo now.

wasn't the original tune engine3, and it was so awful it was tempting to give up on it? ;)

CSLACR & HF_NOS: You're right. The ENEOS SC430 is much better with Turbo Stage 2. 👍

HF_NOSS: Car choices will not be random.
Instead, you'll be asked to copy paste a roll call.
All cars will be put in groups.

Group A:
XANAVI GT-R
CALSONIC GT-R
YELLOWHAT GT-R
AUTECH MOTUL GT-R
STEALTH GT-R

Group B:
RAYBRIG NSX
ARTA NSX
TAKATA DOME NSX
EPSON NSX
STEALTH NSX

Group C:
PETRONAS SC430
DENSO DULOP SC430

Group D:
CASTROL SUPRA

Group E:
YMS SUPRA

Group F:
XANAVI Z

Group G:
BANDAI SC430
ENEOS SC430

Group H:
WOODONE GT-R

So when you post your wish list, you have to include 3 different groups.

So it will initally look something like this:

chorda:
1: Group C
2: Group A
3: Group H

And if you pick a group containing more than 1 car, you can rank wich one you want the most within that perticular group. So it will look something like this:

chorda:
1: Group C
PETRONAS

2: Group A
CALSONIC
XANAVI
YELLOWHAT
AUTECH
STEALTH (don't posess)

3: Group H

And when all driver have sent me and Wardez the 3 choice wish list, we'll start assigning people to cars, and form teams as well.
We will try to make the teams as equal as possible, so it's not likely that Aderrrm and The Outlaw end up in the same car... As long as a 3rd part also want that car.

Everything will be delt with in the thread for a tranceparent procedure.

Agreed, which is kinda my point. The variation in the room as I feel I drove the cars/track the same, but 21s lap times were easier to come by on the 2nd night. Even TimeAttack mentioned the difference in lap times at Laguna on the first night I ran with you and questioned the room too. I'm not saying there is anything we can do about it, but maybe something to consider.

Should be on later for some GTR/NSX testing.

I'm going to have to miss the race tomorrow Den
Wife is working late tomorrow evening which is unusual , so I will be watching my 2y/o.
Won't happen during the season as I will drop my daughter off somewhere so I can race. Hehe

Looks like there's 1 spot opened up in Room 2 then. EDIT: Is Scanny the first reserve?

Yep, Scanny is first reserve

About this weeks race (Sunday, November 6th).
- Race is starting at 18.00 PM (GMT), SHARP.
- Make sure to be in the room at 17.35 at the latest cause I will start with the Bhp, PP and Weight checks by that time (Aderrrm will do the same in room 2).
- When you (Your car) are called to track, stay in the pits until the host gives green for quali.
- You´re NOT allowed to enter your setup menu after beeing called to track.
- Do not enter pits when/if you're satisfied with your lap. Instead, find a secure spot to park your car. The gravel pit to the right of T1 is the best place imo. Sometimes, the cpu mix up laptimes when cars are in the pits, so do not enter pits if you want to keep your position.
- Make sure your car is set up according to the list below (Any list you might've seen in the thread might be out of date. The list here in post 2 is the correct list to tune your car by).

Race schedule:
17.15: Room Opens up (Connect Time)
17.35: Bhp, PP and Weight Checks begin (You HAVE to be in the room at this time).
17.45-17.59: Quali
18.00: Formation Lap begins.

During Bhp, PP, Weight Checks, Quali and Race, stay off the chat.

It was tempting to discard because it has less grip then comparable SC430's, but with more power and less weight, it seems fairly evened out in the end.

I can't say for sure, but in that room you mention, I turned 21.5 with the Castrol and 21.4 with the Bandai, so that's what leaves me questioning that it was actually a room difference.

BTW, Aderrrm popped in earlier and cruised to 21.3 in the NSX (I think that was his best) and 20.5 in a GTR.

Should be able to make it tomorrow, but there really can't be any delays.
