Thanks to the new guy I cant rejoin ive done Cashe 3 times and I was fine before he joined im not a happy camper!.

One last try now then I bloody well give up as no, it could never be anything to do with the new guy just me.... So my torture continues ive been rushing around just trying to get my GT5 save back up and running then only got my Lexus on the thursday practiced my butt off to then get this. This really tops off a S:censored: week... .

Still cant join after RESETING EVERYTHING but no Pag still believes its my fault he never once thought to ask the new guy to reset his router, clear cashe did he?

Im getting rather sick of this tbh Suzuka and this are putting my fun factor down to the lowest its ever been for me with GT5...

Unlucky Red, 4th in D1s no easy achievement, I feel the same as I qualied 6th in D2 (poor but good for me) and with some drop outs I had a good chance to race for the higher spots to get it taken away through no fault of my connection but someone elses...

Edit: Nep I got in the room no problem and had no lag ect ect but when the new guy joined it screwed up the room but yet no one asked him to reset anything oh no, it was all my fault!...

Yeah.. guess it has to spread around a bit. I haven't been disconnected from a series race in a looong time.

Not sure how you guys who disconnect frequently push on. Props to you.

Edit- It was fun while it lasted. Got to run a few laps with Tony. Poor guy would lose me through sector 2, only to have the NSX power back to him on sectors 1 and 3.

Tony is on a one-stopper on with the GT-R and was doing quite well with it.. But T/A caught him with 5 to go on a fresh set. T/A has the lead with Tony in second, Adam in third. 2 laps to go

I hate getting disconnected more than getting punted by a driver, believe me. You saw what happened last week... I go insane, literally. Its the worst thing ever! Im going to clear cache, reset modem AND router, and do a lockdown here at home. Only I can use the internet during the race. That should help.

Yeah.. I could see how it would get quite frustrating.

I have the most expensive home service(minus ordering a T1 line) that is available in my area. I sometimes trade securities on the same line. It is usually rock solid.

We had troubles getting the room started today. Bad day for the GT5 internetz

Thats something also my Net is brilliant when the parents are away on a holiday weekend sort thing, as im the only one on it, since they left its run like clockwork with not a single hitch... So im even more peeved.

When I know its my nets fault im more understanding but when its someone else lagging me out and nothing is done to help me like this oh god.

Im creating brain tumors every few minutes by compressing my rage to be nice as I can to you guys...

@Paul.. well thanks for being nice to us Sorry about thinking your issues were fixed, only to get the surprise disconnect.

Hopefully this doesn't relegate me to D2 as I qualified 3rd and was in a solid 4th place when disconnected. I also got no points for the second heat. Disconnection city.

I've never once seen the new guy have trouble entering a room or cause any connection issues, tbh I think Pag may have been right.
You commonly have connection issues, some weeks you just can't even race, I feel the same pain, trust me.
In any case as a guy who does have issues from time to time, you should be more understanding of incompatibility issues then most people, being you've fallen victim yourself.
Time will tell if it was his connection, or if it's incompatibility, which means one of you two can fix it, etc.


Great first race in D1, not a single bit of contact at all, except at least on Biffy's PS3 maybe a bump with Welsh, but I know it didn't happen on my PS3, so very good there.
Timeattack was unstoppable today, running 13.1's consistently on his final stint, PB with Tony's draft gave him 2:12.393 Gratz on the win, you drove awesome today. 👍
Aderrrm was driving well the first stint, despite 60kg's ballast he had the most rubber left on the track at lap 8, but I guess had predetermind he needed to pit twice. I think 1 stop was the quickest way today, it may have given you the win even with the goof up or two, you had a good pace and unmatched tire wear.👍
Tony killed his front tires following the NSX's, particularly in blanchemont, where he pushed wide constantly, managed the 1 stop anyway, with phenomenal tire wear on the 14 lap second stint. If your first stint was cleaner, with better wear, you could have also had the win. 👍

Red was solidly in 4th, running a very good race, also could have 1 stopped, looked like you almost did, gave chickened out on lap 10, with a 1 stop you could have had a shot mixing it up as well, shame for the DC, hope race 2 goes well to make up for it.

Chorda, Welsh, Biffy were all pretty competitive, Welsh had the greatest crash without damage ever on a fairly early lap, but stayed safe and only fell to 10th, Biffy apparently had something happen to him also, Welsh clipped him by 1.5 or less at the line. Dennis solidly ended 4th after Red's DC, good spot to not pick up ballast, and looked a solid race.👍
GV27 was in the same mix, but pit a lap after Biffy on the second stop and lost his draft, ended up falling back, and Wardez and Dr Watson were probably a bit bored, both lost draft pretty early and then just hung on, better luck next week guys.👍

🤬 happens. Not saying this to be a dick, but I've seen rooms where when you joined and somebody else got dc'd.

It's an incompatibility issue, and what it means is you have a firewall on.
Biffy also has a firewall on. I would guess Mule might also.


BTW - Server maintenance happened the other day, so I already know where all these extra problems are coming from.

They shouldn't happen. One thing GT5 seriously needs to step up is their servers. They are 🤬. Period. I had to upgrade my connection a year ago to be able to play GT5 online. Instead of trying to bring new things, improve what is available first before adding new stuff.

well... now I know that rolling out of bed late and then driving immediately (with no coffee) is not good. Couldn't get my head in the game. No massive mistakes but, just way off pace from the little bit of practice I put in early in the week.
