Wii's time stands regularly with no penalty as I said it should. He's starting in D1 due to him not being able to set a time proper before the deadline although he had been attempting to qualify days before that but could not because he was having isolated connection problems. Considering the fact that this also denied him practice time we are willing to take exceptions for such a case in light of the concept that we would do the same for anyone else heading under the same situation.

I think it's stupid how people actually said he should get a penalty when both of us were pretty much trying all day just to get online.

There's tough outcomes because of the late addition. I'm sorry Alex, but I would've done the same thing if it was me on the bubble, honestly.

All I'm saying his how many drivers would have to have connection problems for a round so for that 1 week we allowed drivers to qualify 2 hours before green flag [without a penalty, which we have done in the past)?

That's what organisor dscretion is about though - looking at all the facts involved and making a decision...

Alsong as the decision has common sense to it and the good of the series and supporting members too, then I can't see it as being a problem.

Trying to cater for all situations - very difficult plus a big increase in workload for the organisor. This is where balancing democracy and dictatorship comes into organising.

If the organisors apply common sense and fairness (as much as possible), plus the supportive members understand the predicament the organisor is in, good organisor "discretion" should work out fine..

There's always going to be "winners" and "loosers" naturally, people accept this with "rules", so why not with good discretion too?

Same. I just kept relaunching the game until it it connected. I managed to get into the room after about 20 minutes of trying :/

Don't worry Eddie. I'm not complaining about anything. More like moaning about a horrible start. As always, if 37.4 was truly my pace, I wouldn't be upset at all, since it would be my "deserved" position. But when my PB was 36.7 and I've just done 36.8 in practice (which would actually place me in a nice position), being at D2 is rather disappointing.

I'll be even more sorry if Canadian guys (my team mates actually!!) can't race today.

Division 2 result

Was a really great race at the beginning. I watched a guy go into the pits at lap 14. Not sure why but I thought I'd two stop at this point. Once I got into pit road. I was regretting that last minute decision. Damage control from there out. Brought home 11th thanks to a few DC's and others mishaps. Next week. I ain't pitting outside my original plan. LoL

The good. I ran a sting of 36's with a fastest of 36.4 alone. Was happy with that.
