A big no for me.:scared:

I find the car quite fun and liked the racing. But I had to leave, sorry about that. And then when I was in the lead, dammit... :grumpy:

Anyway, I'll give it some thought and maybe I'll join, currently it's the time zone that could make it difficult, as it's quite late...

Saturday is terrible for me I think. I'll check then though. other things should be happening soon on Sat's. :)

Really hoping PD fixes the servers on the update, seems like it's getting to hard to race to bother atm. :grumpy:

Saturday was just a joke, really.

Room 1 going smoothly. Race 1 went very well. Good battles at the front and middle. Race 2 going on right now. I have to say, I'm fine with either tuning or no tuning.

Race 1 results:

1. GTP_cicua
2. NEPALII
3. Tha-goast
4. GTP_nissen
5. Lancer
6. Litchi
7. Mule
8. Paul
9. Jackargent
10. Jay2dab329

room2 is done... went well. most people seem to be more a fan of the 'no-tune' on RM car.
fast lap in both races was a 56.5 ... so it's pretty even on pace. but i'd rather not deal with tuning tbh.

I'm going to keep the room open to practice some of the tracks we'll be hitting... so if anyone wants to play around hop in:

...
guess no one is interested... I'll try again after dinner.

I am not that fast, really. Just had a good tranny.

Series is looking good, whether tuning or not.

You ain't slow. :P

This series is really getting an awesome list of drivers.

And I do agree that the car drives fine without tuning, I just suggested it for ease of control to make races closer. RM's on no tuning should accomplish that goal.

Well Race 1 was a complete disaster lag was insane got lag punted atleast 4times causing full engine damage.

The 2nd race wierdly nothing had changed but there was no lag what so ever.

I got tapped into a spin by Mule unsure if it was my fault or his (not too bothered) so he waited for me and I couldnt turn enough to go past and hit him :scared: so I coasted a little to make sure he was in my draft... only for him to unfortunatly spin later in the lap.

Then I managed to pick people off one by one (accidents helped) raced Cicua and Nissen for a while until a few errors droped me off Cicua so happily trotted around in 5th pleased with my fight back through to field. I eventualy got up to Cicua and Litchi but couldnt get into their draft. On the last lap they had a coming together at the T5-6 left right complex which gifted me 3rd :D.

GT5 Servers need sorting as its a bit inconsistant with connections 👎 but overal the night was good :).

Thanks to Mule for hosting 👍.

Edit: I agree with CSL I much prefered the car with no tuning and RH. (And I spent quite a bit of time trying to get a good tune...)

I don't care either way, car slides around with RH tires and a tune, and it still slides with RMs and no downforce and shorter gears.

Lancer you did make it look that way :sly: but for me it was much more stable and controlable on RH and no tuning ;).

Honestly if it helps make the racing closer I don't care if we run softs. :P

Awesome looking field, so I'm not worried either way. Gonna be good.

Oops yes I meant RM my bad :dunce:. (So to confirm I think RM and no tune is the best)

Edit: I see a JB lurking... cmon you know you want to :sly:.

Well, looks like no tuning + RM tires seems to be the popular choice, so unless there's a sudden wave of opposition, we'll go with it.

Now, the next question is the race format. Other than the tuning vs. no tuning, that was basically my plan for the season, just with slightly longer races.
