If we do Madrid, let's do reverse. It flows much more and has better passing. It was a great race in the Golfs, even with only 5 of us.

Since everyone else is giving there opinion on tracks, I would go with Wardez and say lets try Indy Road Course. I love how that track is flat and technical, with just about everything one could ask for, everything except elevation change that is.....

Suzuka Circuit (Just a great track all around)

Tsukuba (could be fun)

Nurburgring Type V (because nurburgring)

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (this car is great here, better on SH tires.... try it ;) )

Daytona ( Fun )

Circuit de la Sarthe 2009 (Time / Weather) ( FUN )

This car is at its best on a big track.

Yeah I don't think we'll be going to the 'ring with this car. Maybe some post season fun, perhaps.

EDIT: Pretty sure I have the sign-up list updated. Might be missing a couple of things.

EDIT2: Car feels real nice around Tsukuba, on Mediums at least. Indy as well. Going to test them on Hards now for a bit.

haha, we did it for WSGTC season 2, imagine that. But it was actually pretty legit.

You're missing me Mule..
#96: w-g-e (GTP_w-g-e): Raspberry Red Pearl / Citrus Yellow

I bought the DLC car pack 30 minutes ago.:D
Can't blame Alien for picking my number... I'll choose another one later.

Tsukuba with 500hp? :yuck:
Don't knock it 'til you try it. ;) Actually quite fun, even on Hards.

Oops. Sorry. :(
If you want, I can make Aliens change his number if you really want 96.

No worries.
And I'll just change my number now (I must be tired ).
Number 9 for me please.

Done.

Room is still open, although I'll heading out for a little bit.

So after a good testing session at Suzuka, I've come to the conclusion that RM tires are good for about 7-8 laps MAX. RH tires are still the best lasting around twice the amount of the RM tires.

By the way, has anyone else noticed that the cars pull into their pit stalls a lot more smoothly? The first time my car pulled in, it shocked me how much better it looks. Surprised nobody else has said anything about that...

Yep. Should completely eliminate the pit glitch at Daytona come Teggy Time, which makes a happy Mule.

Provisional Schedule update:

Fuji
Indy
Daytona
Sarthe (enduro?)
Tsukuba (enduro?)
Suzuka

Spa, Tokyo and Laguna Seca are all still possibilities. Perhaps we could expand to 7 races. Too many good tracks. :(

I'd think it'd be better if you picked either Daytona or Indy, not both. Then Spa or Tokyo could fit in.

Also, have you tried Special Stage Route 5? It's freaking awesome with the FDTC.

I would scrap any GT5P track over a "new" one.
Meaning Fuji.

I'm a bit Spa'd out myself, amazingly. Tokyo, SSR5, Indy, Daytona, these are all welcome to me. I just love fast tracks. :D

If I had to pick between Daytona (a GT5P track, CSL ;)) and Indy, I'd pick Daytona almost every time.

Haven't tried out SSR5 yet. Never really liked it, but then again, I didn't like Fuji, either. I'd like to keep it to 1 street course max, though.

SSR5 really isn't... that streety. It's more like... a rally or... wow. Never thought about how unusual a track it is.

It's great though in that it doesn't have most of the limitations that come from a true street circuit. Just walls albeit fairly spaced.

Took a few laps around some more tracks:

SSR5: I don't like this track, and after driving a few laps, I still don't like it. Perhaps I need to learn it a little better, but meh.

Tokyo: Really not as good as I thought it would be. I really liked this track in GT4, but I still can't get over the horrendous lighting they threw on it in GT5. A shame, really.

Suzuka: The car really likes it here, to be blunt. Easy to lose control in typical Suzuka fashion, but if you can hold on to it, it's great.

Spa: I'm a bit Spa'd out myself, to be honest, but it's still a great track and the car also loves it here. Maybe it can go on as the finale, just to give ourselves some time to get excited all over again?

I love Tokyo with this car, it would be a great race.

SSR5 I could live without, but I think running it in a race could change perspective. Suzuka's a sure thing. Having Spa as a final should work, possibly with weather?

Tried it around Madrid earlier btw... yuk

Is suzuka the 1st race of the season then ?

suzuka
Indy
Sarthe
Tokyo
Spa
Laguna Seca

^that would be my personal choice out the tracks mentioned above although not fussed. I choose Indy over daytona as I have bad memories at Daytona lol lossed count how many times I've crashed at that chicane on the back straight. Don't know why think it the lack of any braking reference point or something. I'm a fan of tokyo so put that in and I'm not spa'd out yet lol

#55 MONSTAR-1 ( MONSTAR-1 )
Colour TBC.

If its not to late I was wondering if I could join? The races would be 8am race start for me on Mondays. Not sure if I'd make all of them but I could do some.

wtf this series is still a way away. Don't fret, it'll make it harder for you to stay considered.

I just want to be with the best drivers man and this will be a good series i hope 👍 And merry christmas 👍:)

haha, Merry Christmas to you. You don't want a hunk of carbon fibre in your stocking do you? xD

You're already with the best drivers, they're everywhere here on GTP

*Christmas TV theme song outro music*

By me... sorry, man! :)

I didn't get bored of Spa as I tried not to over-run it. I'm happy about this, now!!

SSR5... interesting choice, at least. I prefer it over Tokyo anyway.

Merry Christmas everyone! :D

I like Daytona, it's just a draft fest track. Indy's good for any car, and any race, not as much of a draft fest either.

SSR5 really is a get to know track, I didn't like it for a while till I WRS'd it myself. But between entering the first turn at super high speeds, and the epic final turn and long straight, I fell in love pretty easy.

It's also very cool because: night street racing
