#55 MONSTAR-1 ( MONSTAR-1 )
Colour TBC.

If its not to late I was wondering if I could join? The races would be 8am race start for me on Mondays. Not sure if I'd make all of them but I could do some.

We haven't even started yet. You're good. đź‘Ť

WTF im still not on the current sign up list đź‘Ž
I looked and couldn't find your info. It's probably here somewhere.

I like Daytona, it's just a draft fest track. Indy's good for any car, and any race, not as much of a draft fest either.

SSR5 really is a get to know track, I didn't like it for a while till I WRS'd it myself. But between entering the first turn at super high speeds, and the epic final turn and long straight, I fell in love pretty easy.

It's also very cool because: night street racing

You guys are making it really hard to keep it at 6 races :(

I would prefer only 5.

I mention alternate tracks, because we run all the real world tracks (or almost) in both WSGTC and Pure, and frankly, I'd like to see some fresh faces.

So I'm biased towards anything not run in those, and then, I'm biased towards those not common alternatives, like Grand Valley, Trial Mountain, and especially ANY course creator tracks.

Cape Ring full, Rome(forward) SSR5, Tsukuba, (I haven't ran any season races there yet, even though in other series) Indy (see Tsukuba reason) Daytona (again, same reason)
If that helps.

I'd make a series to pick tracks, but it seems constantly busy for the next 3 months, always.

That would be interesting. Set up a racing series with a set date schedule, but unknown tracks. Then once everyone is in the room, vote for that weeks track. đź‘Ť

Well, I've realized I might actually have the most fun in random rooms sorta like we had today, practicing a track for a week be damned, everybody gets 15 min quali and races. :)

Also very good for those who can't get in practice as much as some of us, leaves no disadvantage.

I like this even though that would be a disadvantage for me.:dopey:

I haven't touched the car since our practice race. I probably should get used to driving it with a wheel.

Okay, I want to start this next weekend, with at least a practice race. I know we've been busy with holidays and the 86, but it's time to focus on this now.

This is what I'm proposing for the final schedule. I want most of the races to be between 45 minutes to an hour, with a mini enduro of 90 minutes/2 hours.

Practice race: Grand Valley
Race 1: Fuji GT
Race 2: SSR5
Race 3: Le Mans (enduro???)
Race 4: Tsukuba (enduro???)
Race 5: Daytona
Race 6: Suzuka

If we want to add a 7th race, Indy, Spa or Grand Valley seem to be our best options. Indy could also work for the practice race.

Did you test it with sports hards after 2.02?
If I remember it was great on that tire compound "Stock".

I would pick Le Mans over Tsukuba! 90+ mins of Tsukuba would be very repetitive in my opinion. How about spa for an enduro?

wow, I hate all but two of those tracks.

I'd say Grand Valley, SSR5, Daytona, Suzuka, Fuji, Nurb GP/F and Spa enduro.

Also making my entry official.

I should be good for grand valley this weekend đź‘Ť, la sartha endro with day and night would be cool. I also think Tsukuba endro would be cool just becuase it so small that it would be very intense with lots of traffic . I'm gona need to practice alot as I hardly ever drive at fuji,ssr5,Tsukuba and daytona rc :scared:

Yeah, pretty much.

I have a nice custom track that's wide open with plenty of room for racing if anyone's interested...

Custom tracks don't get enough credit I believe, especially when they're done right.

So, the qualifying is something about being online at a specific time of the week where one of the host's minions will control the lap times made by one and by the end of the week you will have a qualifying result?

If so, count me out. Sorry if I sound negative, but I hate having to do qualify mid-week when the race is in the weekend. I was hoping for a series to only occupy your time once a week and qualifying isn't that exciting.

I'm only not a fan of Fuji GT, Daytona is fun when I'm not crashing...

I sadly agree, since I think we run a reverse grid I don't think Quail is that important it needs it's own day.

I'm not that bothered about quali being during the week, it doesn't take long to go online and do a few laps. I normally lose 3 or 4 places at the start of a race anyway so qualifying isn't that important to me will try get in Division 1 but if I don't I won't be crying about it. :D

Sport Hards? With that much power? :yuck:

The Le Mans enduro has been apart of every series I've ran so far. I wanted to see if the people who've ran them before wanted to try something different, and someone earlier suggested Tsukuba.

Spa would work, I think.

I honestly think we just have completely different tastes in tracks, then. You like SSR5, no?

Curcuit del la sartha day and night change?

If it's the enduro, yes. If not, no.

Yeah, pretty much.

I used one for the first Integra series if you remember. But put it up for download, and I'll check it out.

That's honestly, the first I've heard someone say something like this, to be honest. You can qualify pretty much whenever you want the week before the race, up until a deadline. It's very flexible, as most of us have work or school to go to.

With that said, most people will end up qualifying on Saturday, anyway. It's just open during the week for those who are busy on Saturday. But if you don't like it, and want to leave, there's really nothing I can do. :/

We scrapped the reverse grid idea when 2.02 came out and we decided on using both Racing Hards and Racing Mediums.

Finally, expect a banner and a small announcement later tonught...

It works. Keeps you off the throttle, slowing the cars down, making better use of the grip.
Since it seems we will be tuning it might not help as much.

If we were all a bunch of super-aliens like Tony, Adam or Brock, that'd probably work, but we're not. We need grip!

I find no fun at all driving with no grip. I love speed and grip. Unless I'm drifting.

I'm way late to the party on this:

SSR5: I don't like this track, and after driving a few laps, I still don't like it. Perhaps I need to learn it a little better, but meh.
Plus, occasionally SSR5 has a glitch where the track will disappear in places. I had this happen to me in a SuperGT race, and it also happened to the series organizer, who was watching.
Tried it around Madrid earlier btw... yuk
Forward or Reverse? Reverse is like a completely different track. It flows so much better.

Not a fan... just don't really hate it. Nostalgia for SSR 11 is probably why.
