I vote for a 2 hour, day-night-day enduro at LeSarthe with weather on 0% with a change of "1".

:)

Gonna be practicing in a couple hours so if anyone's feeling up for it later, just let me know.

So is it just a practice race this weekend or starting the season?
Also is qualifying week long starting now or next week if it's just practice this weekend?

Well it does start this Sunday at Suzuka so yeah, qualifying should be open.

This is what made me ask.

Okay, I want to start this next weekend, with at least a practice race. I know we've been busy with holidays and the 86, but it's time to focus on this now.

This is what I'm proposing for the final schedule. I want most of the races to be between 45 minutes to an hour, with a mini enduro of 90 minutes/2 hours.

Practice race: Grand Valley
Race 1: Fuji GT
Race 2: SSR5
Race 3: Le Mans (enduro???)
Race 4: Tsukuba (enduro???)
Race 5: Daytona
Race 6: Suzuka

If we want to add a 7th race, Indy, Spa or Grand Valley seem to be our best options. Indy could also work for the practice race.

Ok, I just went off of the OP and practiced Suzuka for an hour for nothing.

So... anyway...

Ah f--- it. I'm gonna play Star Wars then go to sleep.

Really sorry, guys. Been unexpectedly busy the last couple of days, but I should be good now, other than for work.

Practice race will be this Sunday at Grand Valley. I will update the OP and the Thread Title now.

The schedule I posted last Sunday is final. Le Mans will be the enduro. If you guys want a 7th race, speak now, and I will add Spa. First race at Fuji will be on the 15th.

What time does the race start? Some here race in the GT Omega series on sunday as well, so hopefully it's earlier in the day. And how are we doing the qualifying for the divisions?

4:00 PM Eastern is when the races start.

Division qualifying will be a week-by-week basis. If you make the top 16 one week, great, if you don't make the top 16 the next, oh well, you're in D2. Same as the Lotus series, back when we had more than 16.

I'm sure I'll be fast enough to race in Div. 1 but how are you going to implement that if you already have over 20 people wanting to qualify? You going to hold TT's? I didn't race the Lotus series, so you'll have to explain it somewhat.

I just updated the OP, and it has a little mini-guide on out qualifying method.

You basically do a 4-lap race, of which laps 2 and 3 count as hotlaps. You best lap out of those 2 sets your quali time.

So who's qualified to do these qualifying races? Just as a generic question, so if those who are qualified see this, they can post a room and/or time.

Btw, part of the PURE sanctioning thing means all members would be available to you to be used as stewards or qualifiers as well

As well as Wardez and myself, the Stewards. I'll get that into the OP.

Can you add me to the OP please Mule.
How do we qualify for the practice race coming up 5 days? Or do we just show up?

Just show up. We'll probably do an example quali run for those who've never done it before, it wont count for anything.

Welcome to PURE! Rock on :D

Nice Steve, thanks for coming back and setting up shop. Appreciated.

Now all you need is that sweet little logo you were eyeing *nudge* ;)

And yeah, we usually split rooms right down the middle.

Please take the time to full read the OP and you'll have your answer.

I do see a lot of entries but it doesn't say if its open or closed.. seeing the amount of entries makes me think its kinda packed.. thus the reason i just asked to be sure,,

There's no spots so you're free to register.

Sorry to be a pain in the ass, but... how did tuning end up like? And as for tyres? Only RH allowed?

I think we do quali on RM's then we have to use both RM and RH during the race. I have no idea how tuning ended up the way it is, I know there was a reason for it but just can't remember. :P

Also I was working on my tune for grand valley last night still not got it right but it's getting there think I was hitting 1'47 on RM's before I gave up for the night.

Edit again - Is there midweek quali for practice race or is it just 15mins before the race ?
