Spent a few minutes with carra. Times down to 1:41.5 with a hypothetical 1:41 flat in me if it wasn't for that dumb chicane. Never can get it right. :ouch:

41 flat. Crash in 3 of 4 chikanes.

What about doing a formation lap this time? Only to avoid the standing start where all the cars slide and drop down to the left.

Yeah, we'll probably have to with these beasts.

So yeah, rolling start it is.

Rolling start, at Daytona?

Cue the Daytona USA music! :dopey:

Like I mentioned in the FMSC thread, I'll be available to qualify anyone after 6:30 PM PST tomorrow.

Hmm, so after a handful of laps I am about 2 seconds off pace. Yay.

Edit: 1:42.089

That'll do I guess. On to qualifying...

I changed my color.(When did orange become so popular:sly:)

I painted the car a pearl white. The rims are still blue.

Hope that helps Mule.

I would like to qualify tonight for Daytona, sorry I'v missed so many races, the times and the car has kept me from showing up much.

Yes with so many Blue cars I too changed colors to Silver

Use the entire pit exit please.

If you mean after that, don't cross the white line with more than 2 wheels.

I'm talking about the first hairpin right hand turn, the exit has that access road that comes from the left.

Room Open:

1472-6118-3830-2745-6043

Edit:

Left with Outlaw and Fox in the room.

Good race, and what a finish!! :D

By the way, I know you're using RS there, but still, that car's a beast, faster than our RX7s!! Amazed.

Litchi: 1:41.326 & 1:42.414 (Need to review replay for both laps)
GrayFox32: 1:43.028 & 1:43.215
More qualifying times:

R1600Turbo - 1:41.596
Owens - 1:41.875
CSL - 1:41.927
outlaw4rc* - 1:41.571

* Verified by CSL

Still need ruling about Litchi's lap, Mule.

I ran a 1:41.1 right before my Q, only for me to, well, let's just say the banking wasn't my friend at the start.

Addendum: Litchi's lap is considered clean.

I can't get on my GTP PSN, so I probably won't qualify or race unless I can get the problem fixed.

FTW I expect to see a 40.xxx by the end of this race. Maybe not me, but somebody.

Given I ran a 41.1 yesterday, and I'm not the fastest around here, someone definitely will.

(Especially with the draft, we may see a 39.9) :nervous:

I meant in clean air, but I suspect I can hit 40's as soon as I turn more then 10 laps, so I'm just guesstimating. :scared:

Actually gonna open a practice room now, an get me dat 40 yo.
