Personally, i'd support the idea of 30fps replays, because I expect some kind of cinematic (tv-like) experience, and if the lower framerate in replays (and only in replays) can bring some more eye candy, I'm all for it.

Up to 4 classes. So i just finished an LMP1, P2, GTE, GT3 test today. Yeah GTE/LM and GT3 are separate classes. I think there's like 30 or more classes altogether.
^this. Most other driving games (GT5) do 30fps replays to inject extra quality and effects (motion blur etc.) to make them look really nice. We're going the same route this time on consoles (will be unlocked for PC, again a tech difference....not a different game feature). GT5 has very nice smooth realistic replays (we think).Personally, i'd support the idea of 30fps replays, because I expect some kind of cinematic (tv-like) experience, and if the lower framerate in replays (and only in replays) can bring some more eye candy, I'm all for it.
making FPS (and few other graphics things) player-selectible is a big SONY/MSFT no-noHow about the choice to decide between 60fps and 30fps?

@IanBell and @The_American
I assume the game sets randomly which cars will enter the race in their respective classes?
I see two problems with this:
1) there will be cars the game won't include in the race, since it's random sometimes we'll get ones, sometimes we'll get others like it happens in PCARS1 because the game sometimes adds to many of the same car and others are left out.
2) if we can't specify the number of cars per class, that too will be random and then we will get some overcrowded classes and others will be lacking.
Question to SMS: are we still limited to 16 unique cars on track on console? If that's the case, I can see why we wouldn't be able to pick the grid ourselves in a multiclass situation.
Someone asked this on the last page.I have a quick question but its probably already been asked and answered, Any word on mid-race saves coming to PCars2 ?
Will we have an option to save midrace in offline endurance races?
No plans for this. We understand the request but it is not so easy.

Just wanted to say @IanBell 's contribution to the Q&A's is spectacular. Way to go Mr Developer to keep fans glued and interests peaked. Another developer (not mentioning any names) should take note.
My question for Ian or The American if it hasn't been answered already, is will the AI be better at turning on there lights in rainy/foggy/snowy conditions? That's one of only a few things I found annoying about the first game because during hazardous conditions the AI drivers rarely turned on their lights which made it very hard to see them and avoid crashing.
You are talking about online mode right? I am mostly talking about solo mode. Picking cars for the AI opponents.
for the love of god Ian Bell why are there no "cloud saves for PC" I have lost all my car setups three times on PC, I am at the point where it extremely hard to be kind I own this game on PC and ps4 with 99% of Dlc and I have truly loved racing online it's fun as long as my setup is faster then wreckers. I wish you the best in Project cars 2 I just pray this won't be an issue Ian. I hear there is a way to back up my saves but I am very new to PC and feel that this should not be an issue in this day and age. Again best of luck Ian.
Not really a question. You joined Gtplanet today, and your very first post is a poorly written, run on sentence insulting the developer.
Frustration often leads to answers when approached correctly.

There is literally one file to copy to a folder, desktop, wherever you prefer. It's 'default.sav' which is in pcars\profiles.
Edit, ninja'd by the reply right after your post Better detailed than mine also.
