Thanks for the answers !! I asked 2 questions a few weeks before and did not got an clarifying answer to it, maybe you have now more information's
  1. is it possible to download tuning setups from other people? or send tuning setups to friends?
  2. do we have a screen / interface which shows which car part is damaged and how much? I missed this in PC1. An more realistic alternative is a button to ask the mechanic for a damage review from the data they got from the car.
this two things would be very nice :)

perfect ! Thank you and sorry, I didn't saw that.
Now i am only hoping for a damage screen or a call to the mechanic about damaged parts.

The videos we've seen have had a car outline with green engines and front and rear bumpers it appears. We haven't heard exactly what it's for, but it looks like a damage indicator of sorts.

Is your confidence still high for a late 2017 release? I'd imagine you want to release it before GT Sport and Forza 7, just for a pure headstart advantage....

...But do know this game can now compete head to head with the others!

Well they do keep saying Late 2017 and it would be a bit of a disaster if the game was coming out in Jan/Feb 18 with preorders now. Don't you think?

Releasing it before it's ready would be the real disaster. I'm happy waiting if it means we get a more complete, more stable game with less bugs.
I'm just saying that they've said Late 2017 all along and sorted the pre-orders out. I know what you mean but i'm just saying that there will be a return to "Liars" etc. Although, if it was delayed, I would understand that it is for release day stability.

@IanBell @The_American

Merry Friday, just wanted to ask if it'll be clearer in PCARS2 if taking part in invitational events in the career mode has a positive impact on your career progression?

One of the things that wasn't very clear in the first title was if invitational events counted towards contracts in higher tiers opening up.

Thanks

Yeah Ian said there will be online driver swaps in a free update at the latest if that goes to plan.

I'm just curious on how it will work, how we will swap with the next online driver in endurance races?

Basically, form your team pre-race (at least 2 drivers, don't think we enforce a max but i'm sure there's some technical max). When racing, driver pulls into pits. Clicks "Swap Driver" (we already had this in pC1 but that was to swap with AI driver only) and then any other player on that team can click "Drive Car" and we take the first guy to click that and put them in the car. If the wrong guy clicks first he can again just click "Swap Driver" and let someone else get in (don't need to drive off and do a lap etc.)

Still lotta work to go on this but will be a great feature for online racing. I know you got other questions but thats all i can really speak about this now. More on this later when it's ready.

If you buy the season pass does the Japanese car pack come with the game at launch or do you just get it for free when it comes out at a later date? The motorsports pack says you get it with season pass and special editions. Making me think the motorsports pack comes with the game day 1.

Great. I assume this will be anytime during the pitstop process and won't change the time of the driver change?

I'm so hyped to read this!
This is the the one feature I want the most in this game.
At long last, live endurance races with proper human driver swaps, dynamic time of day, dynamic weather and Livetrack 3, this is going to make for epic online endurance racing.

rFactor already allowed for driver swap although it required... practice :D
Then came rF2 and recently iRacing.

Unfortunately for consoles users there never was a racing game allowing that AFAIK.

I agree with Animera though. pC2 will simply put this on another level just because it's not just one more feature but something else to combine with other features allowing a very intense and realistic experience.

Buy a fan and someone to drip water into you while racing a formula car in the rain using VR and you're ready for 4D :D

I'm in a team that does the iRacing endurance races and all of us have said we'll drop it immediately if PCARS2 has it.
24 hours of daylight racing in unchanging conditions is fun, but not very challenging or immersive.
Might see me getting into that. In a team of 3 of me. Because i'm insane. And slow. We all get along well and agree on anything.
