Will we be able to tell the impact that winning invitational races in the single player mode will affect career progression?

I had no idea of whether winning those series was helping to unlock higher tier contract offers early, whether they were driven by the bronze/silver accolades, or if it's governed by the gold accolades won by winning your main season?

Dont race with noobs, easy to filter them out. Just set a sufficient minimum Safety Rating with our new Online License system.

See that's our approach, avoid hacky things like making everyone ghosts just to avoid noobs/wreckers. Use real-world solutions. Licensing, scoring, identification, host filters. These are the solutions we prefer. We hope you share our vision that these are the correct tools that allow for a fair and competitive online experience. (I will check however if making all online participants ghosts is an option, i believe it was at one point during development)

Thanks for your reply. I hope so much this will work in PC2 !! in Forza it was often times the only sollution to get a nice "race" with random player... I was only on track without ghost with friends. I was really happy to see your system on one of the last presentations ! good job.
For me it would be nice to get the ghost race OR a hot lap challange :) I like to battle with friends agains the clock :)

Hi @IanBell and @The_American ,
I have a question about lights: Imagine racing at night in a GT car, and let's say a faster LMP car wants to pass. Will they also flicker their lights and will it be visible in your mirrors?

This would be very nice, I like this flickering so much :) I do it also in PC1 ^^

We only do 1 Race session. So those wouldnt fit. Your grid choices are by normal (not reverse) Qualy Time or Random. However, for multi-class races if you choose Random we always put the faster classes out in front of the slower classes. So it would just be random _within_ that class on the starting grid.
This is a shame, because I particularly like the position reversed by the result of the previous race. Because when in qualifying we get on pole and won the race there is not much fun in that, there is not much competition that way. In Pcars 1 I often did not do the pole on purpose, just to have more fight on the track

See, I really like the idea of the licenses but I fear I am one of those drivers that would brake waaaayyyyy to late first corner and crash everybody. Sorry in advance

In the recent Porsche article it states that we are getting the "911 GT3 R (991), 911 GT3 R Endurance (991)"
Theres a bit of confusion as we can't work out what the difference between these two cars actually is. Can you give an explanation as to what the differences are?

I'm interested to hear this as well. Is the "GT3 Endurance" specced to race in the GTE series?

I've answered this before. Yes.
Are you sure? I thought the endurance version meant it had the front dive planes like the ones that race at the Nordschleife. The GTE version isn't a 991. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Indeed you're right.

I think I was mislead. My apologies.

Out of curiosity, why did you decide to increase the car counts of RX and Super 2000 with the Mercedes and Renault?

I have no problem with it. I just want to know.
