And also I'm unsure about thius one. I was about to post in tasteful but I felt an urge someone was gonna bash me so maybe I'll put this here.
Yes, a fricking '71 Datsun 270Z. The wheels are quenstionable though the tailights idea I like but not sure if that's called tasteful. The changes are interesting, maybe not final. Though the hood kept me in doubt.
Tasteful or questionable?
The wheels are questionable? the wheels? stop sniffing gourd or something, you're off your rocker more than usual. And that car is the worst you could have chosen to post in the questionable mods thread, as it's basically a race-prepped tube chassis car now with a race-prepped 350 Chevy in it. Basically the only Nissan part left in it is the bodyshell.

My poor cheeseburger....Gentleman, with regret and a throbbing pain in my eyes, allow me to introduce you to the Z3 Cobra. I hope I did not catch you while you were eating ..
For what that car probably cost you could have just bought a Cobra.
I probably should have said kit car, but that's probably true too. 👍The kit costs about £3800 and you can get a Z3 for about £1600 now. So probably not.

Well you didn't... I was drinking, coffee.I hope I did not catch you while you were eating ..
I have a hard time understanding why everyone seems to think old cars are unreliableAs much as i dislike how this looks and as much as i like the Cobra. I can see how someone might want something cobraish with mordern(ish) BMW comfort and reliability, over something knocked up in a shed with scrap yard sourced running gear.
Because most people couldn't tell a camshaft from a cylinder head when it comes to working on cars.I have a hard time understanding why everyone seems to think old cars are unreliable
Basic maintenance on an old car is the easiest way into the auto industry. They are much simpler than anything out now.Because most people couldn't tell a camshaft from a cylinder head when it comes to working on cars.
If you can't do basic maintenance, then your vintage whatever will break down or encounter problems often, unless you pay out the ass and have someone else do it for you.
