I'm impressed. Well, knowing I played these NFS games before, I think I would. Maybe not in real life though.

Here's the front tho.

I'm quite the sucker for the 2000's. However I would drop a V8 or a turbo V6 and make it RWD. Then I'd look for the Lantis Type-R. If I can't find it, then I'll replicate it with a stock Lantis.

Any guesses at what's incredibly questionnable in this picture? It's fairly easy.

The steering wheel is on the wrong side? :sly:

Seriously, if all the governments of the world had, naked of obstinateness, originally agreed for their citizens to drive on one side of the national motorway and on one side of the car, the world would be a happier, more efficient place. But I digress.

I posted these pics because IMO wheels are too bigs, 16, 17 should be enough and this chrome berk' (around 19 20 inch no way I'm not 50 cent)
As well because body kits (BN style) look like the car is melting lol, it's too much.
I mean there is no need for a body kit like this (aerodynamic or …. ) , what is interesting IMO is when you add something on your car which is useful with style and not something just for style.
Also they are drift cars, and when you are drifting it often happen some epic adventures as wall tap, doors to doors, off road and with a body kit like this you can be sure that after some few sesh the car will look like crap.
So why adding on your car this body kit style (which look hideous IMO look at this rear bumper) for after destroy it on track or on road at the first bump ?

I found a pic of the rear of the car I posted earlier.

It takes some time to notice all questionable modifications, but when you do you notice the window tint.

There is a problem in older cars. They can be modified easily.

Two guesses--
First, the roll cage, the angles on the front and the lack of door bars. Clearly not there for functionality.
Second, the seat belt. Why install a roll cage without putting in a racing harness. It finishes the look even if it's not for race use.

EDIT: Must be crazy. I just had a quick look at various cages for the BRZ/GT86, and was surprised to find that several aftermarket cages are actually made with those angles at the front and without doorbars. Head and shoulders should be safe enough but you risk losing your legs if you use it for official racing. Also noticed that the cars used in Super GT Series actually have FULL cages.

Yep, it's the set of metal bars that they call a rollcage. Purely aesthetic, pure "wannabe racecar" crap. Having a rollcage that bends around the dash like that is absolutely ridiculous, it serves no safety purposes whatsoever in the event of a crash. The pillars are at their weakest where the bends are.

In this particular case it's a SEMA car that will never actually drive under its own power (everything else about the car is fairly nice, though, with a custom ITB setup and well thought out mods throughout) but that cage just makes me cringe, seeing how it's a prototype that is eventually designed for production. Plus it's a cage that has pillars and bars that bolt into one another, which is even less stiff and even more dangerous.
