👍 Looks good, especially with the Minilites. Don't know about the legalities of having the headlights mounted so low. I think, in the UK at least, the centre of the headlight has to be no less than 26" from the ground. Or at least it used to be.

The Elan had pop-up headlights like the MX-5/Eunos/Miata anyway. This looks more like a nod towards another 60's low-run British sports car like a Turner or something. If you are going to have non-popup lights on a MX-5 you want some 26R style fared in items.

^ For the same amount of money of building this monstrocity; he/she should have either mod the Z in a more tasteful/vicious manner. Or he/she could have bought the 370Z. I bet its a major pain parking it backwards. :indiff:

200SX?
I like the front view, actually...

^^ This thing's gonna looka AWESOME when it's done! :dunce:

Um... 200SX? Camaro? Fiero? What in hell is that? Looks like someone cobbled it out of stuff they found at the dump... And what's with the garden hose at the back?

THAT 240SX IS NOT QUESTIONABLE
AT ALL
IT IS PURE DISTILLED AWESOME
And it was in the Imports thread a few months ago.
The mere fact that I REMEMBER it over all the other imports means it is awesome and I want it.

Meh. It's a fake Rat Ricer instead of a fake Rat Rod. I'm not buying it. Fake patina is still fake.

Way to ruin a 190.
Oh wait. needs stickers. Can't believe they left those out. They threw everything else in there anyway...

That's a "Curb Feeler". Basically back in the day, people (mainly ones with lowriders) would put them on the fenders, and when they made contact with the curb, they would know not to go any farther, or else they'd scratch their wheels.

What happened to the good old know-the-size-of-the-car-you're-driving feeling?

His choice of tires is certainly questionable. Hankook RS-2s have come in last place in virtually every aspect in every test against its competitors.

Notice the 300ZX C-pillar covers on that 240. Nice. It's just another tuning style--I forget the name--and I think it's pretty sweet in its own right.

WTF...is this to help protect the spoiler whilst parking

FAIL..
Curb feelers are great, lol. They're actually popular on older cars. They were in back then. They make a scraping sound on a concrete curb so you know when you're close.

That 240sx is pure awesome. The fact that a lot of it looks like that as a result of constant beating and abuse makes it that much more awesome.

EDIT:
Keef
Hankook RS-2s have come in last place in virtually every aspect in every test against its competitors.
Remember when you were considering buying them and I sort of played them off because they were blatant copies of Advan Neovas'?

Would have saved you some time if you took my word for it then...
