I have a twin-intercooled, supercharged V6. It came like that from the factory.

The old Z32 300ZX Twin Turbos had two intercoolers as well. Sometimes it's lack of space that's the culprit for such things.

Reminds me of this

Why don't more companies drop their F1 engines into otherwise slow commuter vehicles in their lineups? An F1 engine in a Honda S2000 (or NSX) has always been a fantasy of mine. The Espace F1 was the epitome of strange-but-awesome one-off wonders.

Can anyone guess what car this is? (used to be )

Look at those wires in the last picture:dopey:

And the car is\was a Ford Capri
And the damn owner didn`t even post a picture of the engine. but says it`s a 2 litre.

It doesn't look THAT bad from the outside, just fix a few panels here and there, give it a proper suspension, things like that.

Where it falls apart is the interior... Yeah, that needs work.

^^^
agree!

* Change the rims (on the first foto on the back that rims seem more appropriate for a Capri).

* The Type-R seats ... remove the logo and they will be perfect.

* A 2.0L engine ... thinking of Honda (because Type-R seats) but its a FF... the Capri is FR drive (I hope in this car) maybe the owner keep the original engine.

The owner says the car has the driveline from a 3,0 litre v6, except for the engine. I`m guessing he ruined the engine himself. The 2 litre must be a ford engine, maybe this?: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Pinto_engine#2.0_EAO

Or this could be a possible replacement engine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_I4_DOHC_engine

Anyways the owner completely ruined a previously good looking car. And I like Capris without the damn v6. Would have loved to put a small block in an otherwise stock Ford Capri.
European muscle!

All of these are for sale at www.finn.no take your pick!

Okay, time to be a little cheeky - You mean "moral." I can't imagine that truck being any good for "morale." Troops would cower and cry if that showed up at the base.

Seriously though, I have liked that bodystyle with the "woodside" bed, ever since getting a model of the "Lil' Red Express" for Christmas. If those wheels haven't wrecked the suspension, and it's not too late to fit a set of 5-hole mags...

questionable? absolutely. Awesome? oh god yes.

Caught this one while "donking" around on YouTube last night. There are some good laughs in this video.

Those BMWs up there sadden me. Even a boggo E36 316i is a nice enough car, but because they're so dirt cheap now all sorts of lunatics can afford them and those cars up there are the result...

That would be cool

Someone must crash this car quickly.

Ok this dates back some time 576? as i'm still reading through the whole thread for months now (nearly only looking at the pics) it really "bothers" me none knows the real story.

it's not a Dubai car (it was shown in dubai).

it's a swiss millionaire, who's in love with red-gold.
His whole house is like that.
you may wanna kill yourself when guested in his house

here's an article about him (pics not longer online), so now you know his name, you can research for more of his atrosities, make an anti-myface group,...

Even better: his own site.
lol of yourself

To all millionaires / billionaires ( i doubt a lot here, except the mafia bass with his 2 veyrons):
YOU CAN'T BuY TASTE NOW, DON'T CHA

Glass(polycabrodonate) rims

USD $5,000 wheels, on a 350Z?
That's the same material like the front cover (visor) of helmets in F1, cds, security windows,.... Can be resistant but not for 5000€. Alone the visor in a f1 helmet cost 25000€. So big rims with the right structural sturdyness would cost 100000€.The stronger you want it the costier it gets. And you may wanted to say polycarbonate an not poly- cabron- donate

http://www.engadget.com/2006/11/02/clear-polycarbonate-car-wheels-hit-for-2-000-apiece/

So for a set of four you'd come up $3000 short but I think the OP's estimate is a lot closer than yours. And I think you owe the OP an apology.

No... what i wanted to say is that if you want the strongest polycarbonate rims you probably cost a lot more than 8000.
i don't know but this was my assumption : just the visor of the f1 helmet cost a few thousand bucks, which is made out of polycarbonate also. So to have a circle of 22" for 2000 and lets say 1500 for +-20cm/7.5cm visor someting doesn't sum up...

100000 was too big, a big FAIL on me. i had the price of a whole helmet in head which is +- 15000€!

i would like to see the Tüv test them... see how stable and sturdy they are over time, how they act under excess ( on track), in an accident,...

2" thick polycarbonate is going to be pretty friggin' strong...

Polycarbonate isn't some expensive material. The stuff in F1 helmets may be, because it's ground and polished to perfection, and has some special anti-glare coating on it. Polycarbonate - just the plain stuff - is used in disposable bottles used for water coolers. It's also used in cheap plastic fake metal trim on your dash.

It's not the Material which is expensive, just like you could buy enough sheet steel to make a Porsche for...eh, about $1000 by weight. It's the labor put into it, the "Value-added processes" of manufacturing, that makes it worth $70,000.

Obviously, there's not as much labor involved in PC wheels as in a helmet for an F1 car!

and if you don't believe me, I have the degree to prove it.

4652580719_f43570d5fc_b.jpg

That's a stock rear wing. You may not like it, but it's not all that questionable.

;)

That's not a stock rear wing sorry. The only rear wing that was available for an audi a6 through the audi dealer is the one from ABT, and that is just a lip and not a spoiler

http://www.spoiler-town-usa.com/Audi-car-spoilers.htm
at the end of the page

@Jim Prower: that's pretty much what i was saying. So don't need to prove anything, i believe it too haha.
what would be interesting is what would make the differences to make it stronger as i don't believe that the visor from a f1 helmet is very thick. If the rims are really 2" (5cm) that's huge, i think a visor is maximum 1 cm (even less)....

have now finished paging through the thread. Took me 6 months. Now what am i gonna do during work!!!!
But it's a frecking hillarious thread. I agree with most of the cars,.... some exceptions when it comes to taste (colour, show cars,...)

ok i wondered how this could not be shown yet:

that one just made me laugh when looking for the car pics

and the whole in motion:
