Rear wheel steering?

Pah. That's an engine display stand shaped like an Austin Mini.

Though all the loco prime movers I've seen are either blown or Single-turbo...

Christ, how many turbo'?

erm...12 :D 78 litres, V18 w/3500hp and 14,000 Nm torque :dopey:

"We never like to let a challenge go by unanswered so we got to thinking maybe we could fit the QSK78 into an original Austin Mini. It proved to be a bit tricky to fit under the bonnet but our engineers came up with a more creative solution."

now, onto an easily overlooked machine at goodwood

It's the kind of thing so easy to miss unless something catches your eye
yup, a transit...wait

and yea, it's all in there

IN the back, where you'd stow cargo. :3

But, yeah, we've seen it. Wouldn't call it questionable, myself. I'd do the same thing, only with a '91 Dodge Ram Van and a 540ci Mercury Racing 1350.

Does the guy that put his lunch in the window know that?

I'd imagine so. It's Goodwood's own van. It's essentially an XJ220 with a Transit van body.

I thought this was a well-known vehicle? It's been around for donkey's years - built by TWR in the 90s as an XJ220 mule, for testing the drivetrain in the city. Genius if you think about it - no-one would ever look twice at a Transit, but it'd be impossible to take an XJ220 prototype around a town centre without everyone stopping and staring. Apparently it was also lighter than the XJ220 and hit 60mph quicker - and recorded 179mph at Millbrook.

Sorry to bring up something on the previous page, but does anyone else find it funny that the car with "8 UR VTEC" as its plate has a proud owner standing beside it with a Honda belt buckle?

Why do you think I posted it, besides the double intercooler. I laughed when I saw the car at the track, people were staring at me like I was crazy.

Who says it's the owner?

And...

What's wrong with a double intercooler? V-engine, twin turbos, two separate banks of cylinders to feed... Of course... the fact that it doesn't even remotely fit under the bumper makes it pretty ghetto, but the dual intercooler itself is pretty neat.

That's the Renault Espace F1. A minivan with an F1 engine. Only one ever made. Oh, and don't hotlink Forocoches.
