[RACE] Formula 3500 International Series - Jammy21 takes the crown!Open

I decided to only give half penalties in the incidents regarding the failed caution, since it could've been avoided had I put everything in the OP. You're not a clown, I am

With a little more than a week to go before round two, I've made a little update to the OP:

  • Linked to the Monza report
  • Updated with all info regarding Laguna Seca as well as Monza (clicking "Date" takes you to the countdown timers, clicking "Race laps" takes you to the driver info pages, and clicking "Race Report" (only Monza at the moment, for obvious reasons) will take you to the race report)
  • Added a heads-up regarding caution requests
Please note the following as well:
  • I took a lighthearted approach at some penalties in round one, due to the amount of confusion. This will no longer be the case.
  • It is your job to make sure that your car isn't below its weight limit (visible on the standings screen). I will use the in-game driver screen (I've forgotten the exact name of it) to check your specs. I will tell you if your car is underweight (if you, for any reason, want to run at a higher weight than you have to, feel free to do so). I will not tell you what to adjust it to. If you fail to reach the required specs on your second attempt (first time entering the track after being told to correct your weight) prior to race one, you'll be disqualified from the race week. Failing the weight check prior to race two even once will see you disqualified from race two. This is because the weight limit for your car doesn't change between race one and two.

That screen is called "Member List."

Anyways, good luck again this week everyone. Still working at my dream job, won't make this first season at all... Unless we did spot races.

How much have you had to drink lately, Andrew? We're on a break week, not a race week!
I've been sniffing gear lubricant, if that's what you mean. God that stuff is horrible.. to top it off, I think I'm allergic.

But oh. What sort of shenanigans have you done with your schedule?

What's a good Laguna Seca lap time in these cars?

By my calculations of how off pace I think I am I estimate it to be somewhere in the 1:13 to 1:14 range.

Haven't had many laps on LS myself, but I'm visualising laps somewhere around 1:10 for Jammy. But then again, that would probably be a slow lap for him ;)

Do we have race on friday? Yes my laps at LC were 1'10.xxx (with 690kg@online) but not tested yet after new update. I'll do testing tomorrow.

After a short test session, I can release following information:

  • Best I managed online was a mid-1:12
  • Fuel usage per lap is somewhere between 3 and 4%, meaning that unless you manage your fuel usage carefully, the car will run dry somewhere around lap 32(!)
Furthermore, if anyone has anything that needs to be done, make sure you do it before the race. That includes baths, asking questions etc. If you're not ready when the test start begins, you'll not be allowed entry to the actual races. And so on and so forth, the rest of it should really be common sense :)

yay Laguna is coming tomorow i hope this time i could have 1 podium and 1 win not like i did on Monza 1 win and one 4th place... :)
