What, you don't want to have "fun?"

I just want to drive simple, lightweight, low-powered cars with zero grip.

I have one idea: Recommended points system:
1st Place- 10 pts
2nd Place- 9 pts
3rd place- 8 pts
4th place- 7 pts
5th place- 6 pts
6th place- 5 pts
7th place- 4 pts
8th place- 3 pts
9th place- 2 pts
10 place and below- 1 pts (All drivers from 10th until the last finisher score 1 point)
Did not finish the race- Depending from the position which the driver was before retiring.

What do you think? By the way, nice series! 👍

I think I'll keep it as it is, to have more of a points gap between 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, thanks for the suggestion though.

If the choice is between AAR and Porsche..

Yeah..

No..

Next season?

I'm really not sure which team we should sacrifice for AAR... :indiff: I will need a thought and help from you guys. You know what, let's try voting!

Colorwise, I think BRM and AAR are too close to be instantly recognisable, so there's my best offer.

You better not kill Porsche, though, especially because Gran Turismo.

Bagsy Scuderia Centro Sud, Ecurie Maarsbergen or O.S.C.A automobili.

Apologies for having to make a sacrifice. :guilty:

One idea could be this:

  • Scuderia Ferrari - Italy
  • Team Lotus / British Racing Motors - Great Britain
  • Honda Racing - Japan
  • Bruce McLaren Motor Racing - New Zealand
  • Brabham Racing Organisation - Australia
  • Matra Sports - France
  • Porsche System Engineering - Germany
  • All American Racer - United States
Not a easy decision but a suggestion.

So sacrificing BRM for AAR? Considering that would add more variety in terms of team nationalities, I'm towards your suggestion, yeah. 👍

In reality, the McLaren and Brabham teams ran under the British flag but I decided to use their founders place of birth for them.

Man, I'm running out of colors right now...

This Brabham was run black:

So I could change Brabham to black and AAR to dark blue. ;)

Late 60s Brabhams had a greenish-blue color in the first photo.
Their first car had this blue color on the second photo.

The problem is, we already have Matra with light blue color. Nah, I guess I'll do as I said: black for Brabham, dark blue for AAR. ;)

Depending on timeslot I am in. Running at 10pm+ saturdays GMT will make it easier down line ;)

So do I have to run one of the pre designed schemes? Also rules on rim designs etc?

EDIT: Also what tuning? Are turbos periodically correct really, surely not?

We will decide on the time based on a democratic voting system. :sly:

So, you have to choose a team of your liking from the 8 posted in the OP and choose the number you'll race with. Then paint your car in the color of your chosen team, add your number and off you go. ;) Rims cannot be changed or colored, sadly. :indiff:

So, as for the LSD/Racing Brakes issue? Most of the classic race cars in the game have both, such as the Ford Mark IV etc.

Dark Blue, Brabham, #54 then.
