@ITCC_Andrew, I'm looking forward to running. Hope I make it back in time.

The season runs July 19th, 2014 - Aug. 23, 2014. When's your vacation/trip/business adventure planned? I'd like to make sure that there actually is a conflict before watching you worry needlessly. :) Right now, we're having a little "Run-offs" championship, for further testing of the new cars... And to pass the time between now and the end of @Furinkazen's ToCA 11 series.

Peugeot, MINI, Mazda, and Ford haven't had any one test and claim them. Sakery is testing the lot, leaning towards maybe MINI... But if you don't want a huge battle over the Honda/Renault/Citroën/Alfa contracts, those are your options. You can, of course, sign up with any manufacturer you want up until May 17th, but some will be easier than others...

And for if you're creating a Jr. Team, like Red Bull and Toro Rosso, Mitsubishi, BMW, Hyundai and Trollvo are open to your Jr. Team.

I would love to get the Mini btw :D

Did the final test with the RCZ, Clio and Alfa:
All three ok but Alfa is not on par for me, drives nicely but too slow.
RCZ too much understeer and too much rear downforce which stacks with it.
Clio is nice good turnin, good amount of oversteer but lacks something for me.

At this stage I definately would pick the Mini, so if its ok put me in her :D

BMW and Mazda update:

Mazda, becoming increasingly overwhelmed with a lack of support, have decided to drop their factory team and join ITCC 5 as an independent instead. BMW have taken that spot as a factory team, and are already in talks with several drivers. A BMW was spotted in unofficial testing, where a BMW even claimed a race win.

Sources say that the BMW is a "darkhorse," because it's exceedingly fast but exceedingly hard to drive. There are rumours that a talented driver or two could be on their way - if these drivers can control the raging German hatchback, it could be ITCC 5's fastest car...

I have no worries then about making it back on time. And it will give me time to join some of the Run-offs to get familiar with the 120i before the season starts. Next weekend run-off I'll miss, though the following I'll be there either for the test or the race.

I just realized you are striker! :D

Lies.

Race 3:

dano: 25
MrM: 18
Ciro: 15
Sig: 12 (Renault)
nas: 10
CAM: 8 (warning: avoidable contact)
Ett: 6 (D/C - DNF)

Incident: In the braking zone to hairpin, CAM brakes exceedingly late. Noticing his mistake, he steers away, to attempt to avoid Ciro, but hits Ciro. CAM allows Ciro to retake the position, avoiding penalty. 👍 for the sportsmanship, 👎 for costing Ciro two positions - a warning should hopefully enforce the idea of braking a touch before your braking point.
Sorry about t-boning you, Ciro. :( I tried to go inside to avoid rear-ending anyone before the hairpin and got on the binders later than I should have. :( That along with lack of consistency didn't make me look good on the final evaluations for the first R-O weekend.

Can someone say "dominate"?
