Now that Mazda is independent I'll join to Mazda as indepentent driver and possibly part-time, because season will be run at my summer holidays. I'll try to join races as much as I could.
BMW and Mazda update:
Mazda, becoming increasingly overwhelmed with a lack of support, have decided to drop their factory team and join ITCC 5 as an independent instead....

@ITCC_Andrew Yes sir would like to do it :D

Just tell me when. 👍

Has anyone done any testing at Silverstone National yet?

Yes - 59.7xx is a good lap. Don't spend too much time trying to get a faster lap than that.

No I only tested them at Ascari. Other test where on Apricot hill and Motegi (full or East I think).

Motegi East is a lap time of about 1:25. Motegi Full, I think is around 2:10. That might help you to recall which track it was. Regarding Ascari, :) it's a good test track.

In case @Spurgy 777 cannot do any rounds, @gokartman78 will be filling in.

And the privateer trophy goes to...

Oh god oh god oh god, this season is shaping up to be excellent! But, you're taking an independent seat? You're my bet for Independent's Champion now... Easily, in fact.

He took independent so we actually have a chance! :)

What is the current driver/car/spec situation

May 17th is the lock-in date for factory drivers. Until then, anything can happen regarding who gets which cars.

Drivers have chosen to test with Alfa Romeo, Renault, Citroën, BMW and Honda. Honda possibly too fast, BMW almost impossible to drive but fast when driven well... Alfa, Renault and Citroën battling hard. That's the only update I can give.

Can I run my manufacturer tomorrow morning. Hopefully this time I can nail the Alfa.

Morning in Australia, or morning here? Morning in Australia, maybe/probably. Morning here, nope - I have college..

Who has provisional spots as of now

Spurgy is independent...? He's not a factory driver...
I'm the one who decides which cars are and are not factory-backed. In the case of the BMW, with two very talented drivers, it obviously needed to be factory.

@Spurgy 777, yes, RH tires.

Ok, I've managed a 58.868 around Silverstone national, might be able to get another tenth or two though, and a 58.2 on the mediums. :)

Just keep practicing and tuning.. I'll really quickly send you that tune as a rough starting point.

Wait, so my awesome tune doesn't suit him at all? I knew I was special, my tunes work only for me... :P

@Spurgy 777, I told you not to waste your time practicing. You're already a full second up on us humans.

@GTracer98, you're very special. The photomode forums alone wouldn't be the same without you.

But, I gave Blake the information necessary for him to improve his own tuning setup. Using someone else's isn't really right.

Living in different timezones makes it hard :D
Well me has to work from 6 - 14 o´clock my TZ (GMT0 with Summersaving) and have to get up the other days at 4:30

=> NO in the Morning for me and everything later than 21:30 is also a NO

==> From 15-21 I am normally available for the Testsessions :D

Wow, thank you infinitely for that massive compliment! :embarrassed:

Well, I agree, each person has a different driving style, that's obvious. I'm really hoping now he will get the spot in Alfa Squadra Corse. :nervous:
