I had problems connecting last time, this benchmark really doesn't mean anything in this context.

Holy crap, those numbers are high. The upload...

...And yet you still d/c. What @Siggers is saying is exactly what I've been saying. The uPnP is something you should always turn "off" for GT6, and then turn back on for CoD or whatever other games you fancy.

Yeah my internet is pretty good when Verizon isn't being a bunch of idiots and turning it off for half my town at random...

Obviously all season we have had issues finding a host that everybody can work with. As I have said before the start time should always be the start time; ok 5 or 10 mins starting late is acceptable, but personally I am really not prepared to wait to wait an additional 2 hours or so for Caine to finish his other league races so he can then come and host for us, if that is something you were hinting at doing in a previous post.

I am sure Caine knew about the scheduling conflicts when he signed up to participate in the series he is running in, and having to sacrifice missing rounds to suit this is his choice.

If we can't accommodate all drivers with the hosts we have available then it would be tough love but leaving them out would be the only thing to do in order to keep the series running to schedule. I myself have had to sit out rounds in the past because of this due to my connection problems, I know it sucks but surely it's what needs to be done in order to maintain a professional running of a series?

For example at Ascari we started like 2 hours late. In that extra 2 hours I could have gone and participated in all of the TOCA races instead of waiting around doing nothing. If you are going to change the start time that significantly then at least announce it before Saturday or permanently change the OP start time or something.

And of course logically it would be better if we gave those who were front running in the championship priority with regards to the most suitable host?

Mel I am really not trying to make an attack on you but I feel I am just explaining what the majority of everyone else is thinking. The whole world doesn't revolve around ITCC...

This. This all the way. What I have been saying was a rather informal explanation of this! Thank you, Sig.

Better get this in before tomorrow then... :)
GTP: CAMikaze
PSN: GTP_CAMikaze
GT6: C. Mattiuz
Car: Ford Focus ST '06 (Color: Perfomance Blue)
Team: N/A
Type: Independent Team/Driver

Aerodynamic note: All cars must have the rear aerodynamic spoilers fitted. All other aerodynamic parts are optional. Teams with the Ford Focus ST '06 shall use the same "aero package" on both team cars (meaning flat floors and bumpers as well as the wings) for a uniform appearance. Drivers from each other manufacturer may install any "generic" rear wing.
So I imagine I can go along with a areo package of my choosing unless I join a team or someone else wants to team up with me?

It always seems to help.

Dano, you have good download speed but not (comparatively) upload speed. :) so, what that means is that we won't have you host unless the other hosts don't work out well.

20 ms ping is excellent, though. You shouldn't be very laggy.

I asked siggers the same thing earlier..... here :
You go into network settings then you have to do a custom setup, then fill everything in as normal (most of it is already filled in for you so you can just keep continuing across to the next screens. Then I think it's either the last or second to last screen it asks you whether you want to enable or disable Upnp. I put it disabled
BUT
You should only really disable it if you are having invisible driver issues and are being blocked from entering rooms with error 697. I thought you didn't have any of these issues?

If so then for you I wouldn't bother messing with it. Nothing you can really do about general disconnects which you seem to be suffering from :indiff:
