I was getting ready to point at you for taking the only number I've ever used.I thought I was #17?
Whoops, thought you were 7 , I'll remake it quick, it won't be too hardI thought I was #17?
Oh goodie. Now I get to out rp you. This will be some funny stuff.DISCLAIMER: This is purely to build roleplaying character. There is inspiration from real events in my life, but this does not represent them.Reporter: Angel, the Chase is now underway. You've proved to be someone that can get top 10 results easily. Is it really that easy?
Angel: I wish it was. I'm gonna be honest, it sometimes feels like me versus the world at times.
Reporter: Care to explain?
Angel: It's a catch 22 where I'm at. I know where I will be next season, and it won't be with Furinkazen Autosport. Since that came out, it's an explosive atmosphere, like it's the other cars against me. And my future teammates aren't obliged to help because it isn't there yet. I'm playing the game of scavenger and it's worked, but it's not getting me wins and that's what I want most.
Reporter: Furinkazen has been reported as being in recovery. Have you talked to him?
Angel: On a very limited basis. He is recovering and he's determined to come back stronger in 2015, but there isn't much else there.
Reporter: You referenced your future team, which has been silent on information for 2015. Is there anything you can share?
Angel: I can tell you we have four drivers, and those drivers have sponsors, and those drivers get along. Other than that, I'm gonna keep my secrets.
Reporter: Fair enough. I've asked this before, and I'll ask it again. How confident do you feel in getting wins?
Angel: I feel very certain I will get a win at one point before the season is over. How and where it happens is a question, but I've been so close so much. It'll fall in my favor at some point. Next season is next season, and I'll approach that after the team comes out public, but at the moment I'm gonna give Furi and this 54 team my fullest effort and that's what matters.
Reporter: We're going to delve into your hardest accident. You've got some scars. Explain those.
Angel: I've only actually crashed twice. And those crashes were painful. I think my hardest hit was when I was rallying.
Reporter: You rally raced?
Angel: Oh yeah. Briefly, maybe two years. I had a cheap Mini, something that was basically a shell. My family had put it together and me and my sister Stephanie had entered into an Appalachian rally event. About halfway through stage 2, I hit a jump entering a very wide turn, so we had some speed. I tried correcting as we went off piste and down a ravine. The car broadsided a tree and it was on my side. I suffered several right arm fractures, had operations done on my lower right leg.
Reporter: How long was the recovery?
Angel: I was out for about a year. It took a lot of adjusting because I had to start requesting that my pedals be reversed at the superspeedways. Having the right foot on the gas at places like Daytona and Talladega makes my lower right leg ache terribly.
Reporter: It must work because you did fantastic at Talladega last weekend.
Angel: Thank you.
Reporter: You have this reputation of being a smart driver more than a fast driver. How does that help you here in GTPFS?
Angel: Being smart puts me in the position to get great finishes, but I wouldn't say that I'm smarter than I am fast. I have finished in the top ten 4 consecutive races on way different tracks. I think I'm smart and fast, but very consistent and that's what matters.
Reporter: Going to step back into personal questions. You see everyone with their significant others, their family, or someone close. You always show up to these races alone. You are always either in uniform or out of sight.
Angel: On that level, I don't have an existing inner circle. I'm just a loner and when I'm at the track I don't have anyone to be around. It's ended up being all business and no play. Is it great? No, but it's made me successful.
Reporter: Is that a fair tradeoff you think?
Angel: It depends on the day. If you ask me when I'm away from the track, I'd say no. If you ask me when I'm at the track, doing what makes me happy, I'd say I don't regret a thing.
Reporter: Final question: You visit a lot of different track types. What's your favorite venue?
Angel: *laughs* Probably the track I get my first win at.
Oh dear xDOh goodie. Now I get to out rp you. This will be some funny stuff.
To be fair, it's sort of dead because their is no updates. Same with the Porsche Cup. Nas (last time I checked) was streaming and participated in a GTPlanet event as a commentator. He'll come back. It's just a matter of when.
What, no "banter" means no RP? Do I need to try the defib paddles?

NEWSFLASH: Owner/Driver of all the #79s BKGlover has agreed to answer questions. It took an armbar, three chair shots, and two paint scheme revelations just to get this far, and he is vehement about reserving the right to dismiss a question. That said, no limit on the number to be asked, AND he if he feels like it he'll give a very candid view of the series now and looking toward next season.
You are an evil man. That's brilliant!
I am working on something. It's taking quite a bit of time, and it will be a giant read when it's all done, but I am in the middle of something for here.In defense of the quiet on the RP side, it's hard to do RP when all current storylines are in a stasis. Unless Clayton or someone in a storyline I'm in were to break through with something new to lead into Armory Digital, I'm really just left sitting and waiting.
I'll ask a question (or two, actually):
What do you think of the season as a whole so far? What was your favourite moment?
What teams would you say look the most dominant and what team do you think has the potential to win a good majority of races next season.Well second question is the win at Armory first go round, hope the team can do it again. Second would be seeing the Possum Express in action, and third was seeing DurWinning win in the throwback car I made for him. Unfortunately, those are about the only high-points on the season so far, which sends us back to question one.
My thoughts on the season are varied. The fact it still exists is a boon for me, as the whole thing and all the series that have spun-off the idea are probably the main reasons I still frequent not just GTP, but the internet at all. Crap service will do that, but I digress. Painting our own cars, our names on the windshield, the commentary, it all merges together to make the series more than watching an AI drive a car.
And that's a good thing because the drivers we hired have made so many dumb moves, we could start at testing and not get to race 4 before midnight. That may come off as a knock on the series director, but it's not. I know he does all he can, that's why we ended up not going to Bathurst and why Mosport was delayed, but even with his guidance there's only so much you can do about AI charging into a 20 car wreck at speed 15 seconds AFTER the damage was initially done, what happened with the #4 last race is case in point.
So what about the competition. Well, Harsk has proven luck is a major factor, as the 79 many times has in the opposite manner, I still feel for Furi, and even with my car in both title hunts, I'm pulling for Angel to keep showing us all up and getting the team the owner's points win. I know I held at least a share of the points lead at one point, and wouldb e willing to mark that as the moment the season became very.....unstable. OF course, running a Fantasy Cup team, Porsche Cup car, Sharpie Series car, Monopoly truck, AND an open wheel/formula team out of a pre-fab shed and a rented trailer house gets a bit stressful. I'm glad I don't have to build too many cars at once, it's already a parking lot out here, but it's been mostly great....aside from that outburst riddled breakdown after the NY event....and this "banter" baloney that kept rearing it's head. Not all of it was bad, but a lot was just...yeeeaaahhh....moving on.
We had a good grid before the CC guys were added, but going to a full 42 was great. Not to mention the blue streaks have for the mots part been solid players both on and off track, and it's been a blast running with everyone.
Anymore questions?
Of course, I'm not surprised. Right out of the gate and you're landing sneak jabs. That's all fine. I'll get you back.Channel 12 News: We're here in studio with the second local driver in the GTPlanet Fantasy Series, Clayton Hardy! It's great to have you.
Clayton Hardy: It's great to be here.
Channel 12: Clayton, you've gotten yourself back into to the racing swing. Of the new drivers in the GTPlanet Fantasy Series, you're the only one to have taken a traditional stock car route in. How do you think that stacks you up against the likes of Angel Porter, who has made a huge impression so far in only 5 starts, and Kuni Kino****a who is an F1 champion?
Hardy: I think it's obviously a clash of methods. I clawed my way through the ranks. ARCA, Xfinity, I pulled myself through with my talent and got a top notch drive with TRD Racing. I didn't rely on looks, and I don't have a ton of sponsorship like they do. It's an inbalanced fight but I'm ready to claw tooth and nail again.
Channel 12: There's that stigma that with the addition of Kuni and Angel, who apparently are teammates for the upcoming season, that you'll really just be battling to be the best of the rest.
Hardy: They played their cards perfectly in their favor. That team has the talent, or enough anyways, as well as loads of sponsorship and the equipment available. A lot of the four car teams don't have all of that. TRD has, in my honest opinion the best talent in the field and with the sponsorship that we have, the money that comes with that, we can beat them over there. And it's safe to say we will.
Channel 12: We haven't seen you at the track for these final races so far. Any reason why?
Hardy: I'm spliting my time looking for more sponsorship and spending time at the shop helping get everything together, which is more important than watching races from a luxury box.
Channel 12: There are now two drivers within the southwest Ohio region. Do you thnk the Eldora race will be a suitable showcase for the state of Ohio?
Hardy: The 2014 Eldora event went very well, and it was a fun event to watch. I believe that having that event is a very great thing for the state and the series.
Channel 12: Do you think that an event closer to Cincinnati would be better?
Hardy: It would be a matter of what type of venue, and how the marketing would work out. I would prefer having some sort of speedway here, something like Bristol. With Indy out, there's money missing and the impact is immediately visible. We need a new event here whether it be street or oval or dirt.
Channel 12: Who do you think will win the 2014 GTPlanet Fantasy Series championship?
Hardy: I always root for underdogs and this won't be an exception. I'm thinking Turbo_snail's got this as a sleeper.
Channel 12: Great to have you and it'll be a joy seeing you again as the season ends.
Hardy: No problem.
