Reporter: Another brilliant top 10 finish. How was your first plate experience?
Angel: It was crazy at the beginning. Back and forth through the field the entire time. It was a massive game of chess for the most part.
Reporter: The big one happened just behind you. Seeing that in your mirror, how did you react?
Angel: I wasn't so concerned about what was going on behind me. My fear was someone in front or beside me getting tapped and pulling me for a loop.
Reporter: quietgirl was involved in that accident, and there was a bit of a cheer. Things haven't cleared up?
Angel: I'm not a forgiving person, and the more enemies I make, the less I care on what happens. It's a ruthless sport, and for karma to finally get her when it mattered most is about as beautiful as nature itself. The world is right at the moment.
Reporter: Another 6th place finish. That's three in a row. Is there something missing from getting you higher up there?
Angel: It's less and less "what's missing" and more of circumstance. At Phoenix, we took a gamble on tires and it backfired. At COTA, we just made it all work from being so far back and the laps just ran out. At New York, it was my first dirt experience and 6th was a miracle. Here, we had it up there and then we started overheating and I lost power. The team has been fantastic, and I hope I can continue to rack up the points, but I'm really looking forward to my new team next season. I'll be in Victory Lane at some point.
