[RACE] Weekend Fun Runs - Thnks fr th mmrsFinished

I reckon we should use more tracks rather than introduce cars. More small tracks in slower cars. Brands Hatch Indy, Autumn Ring Mini, Cape Ring Inside. Simple layouts. There's plenty of tracks I don't recall us ever touching on... Ever.
Please.

Also @nascarfan1400, I really miss racing with you guys and sadly I can't make it this weekend so if at least i'm able to hear you guys on Skype then I will be happy...

It will not just help me but GT6 P2P servers only allowes 4 mics at a time so with skype a voice chat supports more i think.

The problem thought is that not everyone might be able to use skype while playing GT6.

Thanks. :)

Serious answer: I do agree that we could do more tracks. I mean 50% of it is Daytona and 5 other tracks is the other 50.

I think if we were to do another series it should be with something we already have (except NASCAR. Just, no please).

I seriously agree with us being on at Skype during GT6 then using mics on GT6. Firstly, we wouldn't have the 4 mic thing. Second, running without mics takes a lot of weight of the server, allowing for better connections and better racing.

While that idea is good in theory, with the lesser strain in the servers and whatnot, there's still another problem that I believe it's important; while having Skype on while racing can be helpful, our Internet connections would still have to put up with the strain of running both the PS3 and Skype's Internet weight at the same time. And while I am not speaking for myself, as my Internet connection is reasonably stable, others may not be so lucky when trying to run two things like that at the same time... I don't want to be Mr. Buzzkill, but I fear that such issue may cause even more problems.

I run Skype along with my PS3 all of the time during endurance races. Running on WiFi which has the router on the other side of the house would make me massively prone to issues, but I'm doing it fine. :)

Well, if anything, you prove it's doable. I just don't know if it's doable for all of us, really. But hey, if it can take strain away from the unstable GT6 online lobbies, I can't see why not try that idea.

A few people (like me) can't practically have access to Skype and their PS3 at the same time. Me for example, I only have one working Ethernet plug in my room. And I don't have the space for two screens at once. Whenever this idea is brought up, people mention this problem, but everyone sort of ignores it.

I was sure everyone had their PCs close to the PS3... guess I'm wrong.

Don't have skype and won't. I have this, PSN notifications on, a Twitter and e-mail. If it's important, you'll get me on one of them. I have no intentions of casually talking to hardly any of you in my free time. Sorry, not sorry.

I can do Skype, phone and laptop :sly:
How about

I'm on my phone (with 3 social media apps running at the same time), laptop with at least 6 tabs open, Skype if I want to

with my sister on her phone on Facebook

my dad on his laptop or tablet

and my mom on her tablet?

At the same time?
