Well I got your voices in the video but my own microphone wouldn't work.
I just wanted to make a little onboard video of some of race #2.
The blackened cockpit is rather charming.
I think I managed to go from first to last in ten minutes.
Went wide a few times on the first lap but other than that it felt good.
Just too slow. Badoer would have been proud of me, eh @thehobnob97 ?

That was great fun, despite my initial reservations about the car - just had to drive it appropriately.
Was robbed of a win in the first race, slight tap from Jammy, doesn't take much in these cars, but enjoyed it all the same.
Race 2 I struggled to adjust to the tyre wear and made a few mistakes, dropping down to 5th or 6th I think.
Race 3 was good fun, came to terms with the tyre wear, still made a few mistakes though - Had a spin on the exit of the final corner the lap before I pitted, so was happy to come away with a 3rd.
Great video above too Jocke, no idea how you capture that with voices etc, must be witchcraft.
@JockeP22 I feel like it should be you leading the way next week in Zolons absence. Get your thinking cap on and come up with a plan.
Looking forward to the following week , 1st March to try out the Mini/Mustang combo - Zolon to pick the track!

What is Deletraz doing?
I know, it felt like I had a hundred less BHP each time somebody went pass me.
It's probably just that I open the door too frequently and maybe also shortshift too much.
Slow but steady, that's the ticket.
Thanks bb, no I just found a decent tutorial on YouTube. Seems I need an additional microphone
if I want to capture both my own voice as well as everybody elses. Unless anyone can tell me otherwise?

Since Zo is unavailable this week and Jocke is busy organising his OOE cup I thought that I'd open a room up in the club on Tuesday.
I've recently made a track during the period when Zo was running his Trinity championship and because of this I mainly used the Vantage to test the track. Consequently it suits the faster coupés really well. So if anyone is around grab these three stock cars again...
Nissan GT-R '07 the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG '10 and the Aston Martin V12 Vantage.
(Hopefully you've still got them)
Stick some SM tyres on them and we'll go racing at Dimrill Dale GP.
Tyre wear will be set on fast. The SM's will give you a bit more grip at the start of the race (when everyone is closer together) but will wear quite quickly.
All 3 produce fairly similar lap times so we'll have three races of 15 to 20 minutes and you can use any car in those races but only once - you must swap between races to use all 3 cars. Hopefully it might even out the results. And some will get to drive a car they didn't get a chance to use previously.

I might last a race without spinning in the GT-R, that is a worrying thought
Also will be using my Logitech G29 wheel instead this week as the PC is still broken and there was more than enough space on the desk for everything to fit.

I've decided on three 7 lap races. The first race will be fastest first and I think I'll run a reverse grid for the second and third. It'll mix it up a bit.
In my hands the SLR is the quickest followed by the GTR and then the Vantage. Which car you use in each race is up to you. But remember you can only use it once. There could be some tactics involved. Or possibly just jumping in and hoping for the best.

Oh well, you were experiencing what I was trying to achieve with tyre wear after 7 laps.
I should have checked everyone's specs but with the connection problems I forgot.
My tyre wear and time of day settings went slightly to pot with the two shortened races but I hope you enjoyed the track. It would probably be better with a few more cars on it.
