Why did i lost 12 HP from mine Honda civic ek97 when i did race modification?

I got this message last night aswell i was busy RM'ing my Evo and did stage 1 engine and then thought NO let me RM it first then ill do the rest so i did that and when i went to buy stage2 it said you must install in correct order when stage 1 was already installed so i bought stage 3 to see what would happen and again the message came up. I have the stuff in my items bag but it still wont install it onto the car. Anybody got a suggestion?

When you perform the racing modification it overrides relevant mods that you have already made. So if you added components to increase BHP and the race mod removed them, then your BHP might actually drop. You may have to repurchase engine tunes because you are now effectively working on a different car.

While someone else might be more precise, in general I think it wise to do the race mod first and then see what other options you have, otherwise you might waste some CR.

Do the RM first - I spent a fortune maxing out my Corvette lost about 250 bhp when I race modded it. This is the opposite of NFS Shift, where you can't do the race mod until you have tuned everything else on it (assuming you're allowed to talk about non GT games on this forum...)

Is it possible to paint both parts of the two-tone livery? For example can I paint the front and rear of my new C6-R different colors, or am i stuck with the rear being gray?

Having said that, I've taken it for a test drive 'round Laguna Seca. The grey looks more like a metallic silver, and combined with the yellow nose, it looks pretty good in the California sun

No, it's actually like a sort of flat white that's a very rare paint chip. This is at least assumed and not actually verified to my knowledge. But you are stuck with that 2nd color. Kinda sucks, but don't get me started on how GT5 lacks a livery customization program.

Livery customisation...yeah, that's why I buy racing games...

Do you also buy racing games to add turbos, superchargers, wings, other body parts just to see the cars weight, and balance of weight between the front and the rear stay the same?

Or maybe you buy racing games to install a stage 1 engine kit on a civic for 5,000 and then install a stage 1 engine kit on a 430 scuderia for the SAME exact price. I told you, please do not get me started. Modern racing games need to incorporate these things. End. Of. Story.

I've only done the Civic Type R (EK) and the cappuccino so far. Anyone know what those letters in beackets mean? Civic has (EK) and the MX5s get stuff like (FJ)

Chassis code. MX-5s don't have FJ, they have NA (Mk1), NB (Mk2) and NC (Mk3). Civics have EG (Mk5), EK (Mk6), EP (Mk7) and FN (Mk8). RX-7s have FC (Mk2) and FD (Mk3). Skylines have C10 (Mk3), C110 (Mk4), R30 (Mk6), R31 (Mk7), R32 (Mk8), R33 (Mk9) and R34 (Mk10).

This is a question for a different thread.

Ah wrong Mazda! I was meaning RX-7 (FD)J

Hey guys, tonight I'll get my Acura NSX 91 to be race modified and I was wondering how strong the car is. Could anyone share anything about the car?

I have the Chevrolet Corvette race modified (905HP) and painted the bonnet in red, it looks gorgeous. I have a Lotus also RM, but kept it in white. I don't know what color I'll do for the NSX just yet.

The NSX RM is a cool car, but it's a little down on power. Mine is at 414HP and 1045kg. It can at least hang around with the competition in the Super GT series, probably even win with tuning and some solid driving. The stock (as in right after RM'ing it) suspension setup is terrible so you'll need to mess with it a little bit.

FYI, I painted my NSX Imola Orange Pearl. Reminds me an awful lot of the NSX-R LM GT2 for the original Gran Turismo. :)

I've got the list. I've been told I have to buy a standard model car from that list in order to race mod it. How am I supposed to know- when looking at them in the dealership- which cars are standard model?
Thanks
