i should be on around 10:00pm, we are suposed to get pounded with snow tonight (2-4 inches today and 6-12 in the morning) đź‘Ť
Yeah we are supposed to get nailed with snow too. Anywhere from 6-10 inches. See you tonight. Did you read my Donkey Troll response? lol

I played online the other day and I noticed that the system was full of lag problems. After restarting my modem, I still couldn't get a very good connection, but I suppose it was good enough. The second time, I didn't notice as many glitches.

...Being that it is my first time with a Rainbow game in some time, it was different and fun at the same time. But, I'm still too used to Halo to be really "good" at the game. It is changing, but it will probably take a while to get back to where I need to be.

I'm having a lot of fun with the single-player campaign though. I could use some better AI with my squad-mates, but overall it is going over pretty well. I like to use them as targets (to draw fire) so I can shoot while they move about.

I do die a lot, but funny enough, I don't have a problem with it. Normally I'd get really frustrated, throw the controller about like an eight year old, and shut off the game, but I keep going, and going, and going (despite that I'm not too far in the game... Freemont Street.)

I'm stuck at the theatre at Dante's Casino right now, I can get down to the theatre and past the stage but there's such an influx of enemies that just pour out from all over my team get decked then I get wasted trying to heal one of them, plus the grenades they throw are really annoying. One tip I will give when you play on realistic is don't get your guys to open and clear fully, as soon as they take out the guys you have marked press A to bring them back to the door and then pick the enemy off as they run towards you, also watch your left and right for flanking enemies also as you guys don't seem to care what's around them just in front and right next to them.

Right at the end of Dante's and ready to hit the Dam next, and then that's Realistic done but at this rate it will take a week !! lol

Wooo yeah Rainbow Six Legend baby !! Man that was one tough but fun game, that is truly a phenomenal single player story. I'll let my brother do Normal but that's me happy now, 4 days at about 3 hours a night, not bad. Now to try the online !!

Dont worry too much about getting owned online. It all boils down to your team. If you dont have a team that works and communicates together then you will get owned. Its just that simple. Heather has been hosting her own ranked rooms then I join and we get owned a LOT. Sometimes we do well but most of the time we dont. A lot of the challenge is finding a gun and combo that will work for you. Also learn the maps. We are getting better the more we play but if we dont have team mates that work together then our team will have a very hard time.

Congrats on beating the game on realistic. We have beat the co-op on realistic and we plan to beat the terrorist hunt on realistic. Overall I think we have been through the game 5-6 times with different people. Eventually I think I will try to finish the single player on realistic but not right now. Still triying to improve my skills online. The campaign is definetly a lot harder than GRAW but a lot more fun too. We are very glad we bought RSV.

I did 2 co-op stories last night after completing the single player story and even though they were on Normal difficulty I ended up being last man, the first in Mexico Streets my team tried to rush the street after the rappel and we lost 2, then even after I told the other guy there's one on the balcony ahead and 2 in the courtyard he ran straight out and got blasted, I managed to complete it and had 46 kills. lol

It's really good fun having a team that you can work with and I'll tell you something when you tell people to silence your weapons instead of being loud so that you don't alert enemies it's always funny to hear "that makes sense". The first time I said this was on the Mexican Streets where you enter that building and they took the first guy out and said "hmm ...so when you use your gun on loud that guy runs down the stairs".

Really really enjoying this game ! It's good to see the enemy are still a bitch online also, did a terrorist hunt also but got nailed behind a guy with a shield, slow coach. lol

So I have looked over the weapons list for the game and was wondering what everyone's favorite weapon(s) to use are?

Man, I hope I have enough money for Christmas so I can buy this game.

I played the demo and it's so good. The features, the graphics are awesome. The map is very well made.

Guys my Dad is upping are Internet connection to either 8mb or 16mb, and well when it is complete I will let you lot know when I will be running a dedicated 16 player game.

I downloaded the multiplayer demo, it is great. After playing the singleplayer coop campaign at my friends house i want to download the single player demo too. It is a great game and will be my next 360 investment.

Say that to my mom who would burn me alive if I even touched an M-rated game.

Dude that sucks. My mom dont mind any game except gta:sa. The only reason she dont like that game because she heard about the hot coffee scandal in the news. Later that day I was forced to trade it in. On the other hand my dad doesnt even care, he bought me that game for my birthday, along w/ gta3 and vc. Now im 16 they couldnt give a shat what i play. I just got dead rising with my mom and my dad thought it was the coolest thing.

I often have a hard time really viewing the game as an M-Rated title. As compared to Gears of War, this is like "Maximum Paintball," as the level of blood/guts is merely droplets compared to the buckets found in Gears. Certainly there is a good amount of realistic bloodshed, etc in the game, but a good guess is that most of the M-Rating did come from the rather coarse language in the game.

...Of course, you could probably expect similar language being used in a real-life situation, and I know my mouth tends to go off a bit when I play...

Still, it is worth the money if you can buy it. If not, rent it. If not, go over to a friend's house and play it. Simply put, it is that damn good!

So finally having taken the time to take the wrapping off of the case and put the game into the 360, mind you I got the game for Christmas (and finally opened it yesterday), I have to say with what little I have played it I am definitely impressed by it. I have yet to make it through the tutorial level in Mexico, but I have not played the game a whole lot either. I am still getting a feel for the different controls that what I am used to with GRAW, though I think I pretty much have the hang of it.

I am also getting a feel for which assault rifle I like. I pretty much already like the MP-5 when it comes to a submachine gun. I have not really had enough time to experiment with the assault rifles though. I have played around with the 552 Commando and the MTAR21. Any recommendations?

I'm on one of the final levels of the game (school has prevented me from finishing it off, again!) and after playing though most of the game, I've noticed that I need to have decently-powered weapons that have a medium-to-long range.

The past few levels, I've been equipping the AK-47 with the riffle-scope and the RP-90 with the AOG (or whatever they call it, the Police one...) scope. They both offer pretty substantial amounts of power, do without any major recoil issues, and are both pretty accurate. I love the RP-90's near-bottomless levels of ammo, added to that it certainly packs a punch. Although there may be better sub-machine guns available, I generally prefer that. The AK-47 lives up to it's reputation in this game, and although I loathe the idea of using what basically amounts to an enemy-only weapon at times, you simply cannot deny the range and accuracy of the assault riffle.

...Those have been my best-bets thus far. If you find a weapon you like, keep using it. There are a lot of good ones with the enemies, as generally speaking, your supplied weapons kinda suck. Go with what you like and what matches your fighting style. I prefer to do as much fighting as possible from a long-range, so I tend to go with the higher powered weapons.

MTAR21 or 552 (single shot) for distance, MP7A1 or MP9 for close range.

I got through the entire game on Realistic like that. I use the MP7A1 online pretty much constantly.

It's the best gun in the game, period.

Oh, and the DE is the best pistol.

Even though the Raging Bull is more powerful, the DE just makes more sense, more rounds, more accurate, and when you get a headshot that whole difference in damage goes away.

Late last saturday night I finally unlocked I think it was Master Sergeant. Seems like it is taking forever to move up. I unlocked the AK-47, raging bull, and the SV-98. I havent tried them yet but I probably some time this weekend. I have been loving the orange camo. :sly:
Oh here is a detailed break down of all the ranks and all the goodies you unlock with each rank. http://features.teamxbox.com/xbox/1803/Rainbow-Six-Vegas-Rankings-Breakdown/p1/

THEY SHOT MARCELLO.

ARE THESE THE BASTARDS THAT SHOT MARCELLO?

THIS IS FOR MARCELLO!

MARCELLO!

Who. The. Hell. Is. Marcello?

I have no idea who Marcello is. I probably have not gotten to that part just yet.

So after playing the game some more.

I have found I like the MTAR21, mainly on full auto; unless I need a very pinpoint shot, it stays on full auto all of the time. The AK-47 is also not bad at all and is a welcome pickup when the MTAR21 run out of ammo. The 552 Commando is also not too bad; it works when either the MTAR21 is out of ammo or the AK-47 is not available for pickup. I have yet to try the G36C, as I have just now found it in the single player campaign.

When it comes to a submachine gun, I like the MP-5N and the P90. I have tried the MP7A1 and it is alright, though I prefer the MP-5N and the P90. Between the MP-5N and the P90 it is pretty even. Pretty consistently, I change between the MP-5N and P90.

I went through the entire story mode, and I still don't know who Marcello is. Thus is why I asked.

I love this game. Its online is simply first class. Right now I'm a master sergeant, and I'm 2 bars from sergeant first class :)

Marcello was one of the guy's they captured when the tunnel area caved in and you were left alone with a pistol.

Wait. Didn't they capture guys who were with the player (Logan) and not any Terrorists?

That doesn't make sense as to why the terrorists would yell all the Marcello stuff.

Oops wrong guy, I haven't played the single player since I completed it about 3 weeks ago so my mind is all over the place, I know they killed one of your guys.
