I have a laptop by my side as well!!! So I will try to do what I can :)

I have my laptop with me and will try to record as much as possible between races.

Problem for me is that I will back at the back of the field, so may not know what the result is. :)

Can't seem to keep this DB9 in a straight line.

Heh... I'm afraid also that I might race my last start earlier than 1am... here in Finland we are GMT+2h

Sorry if that happens. I have wakening every morning 7.30 (5.30GMT)

And have we got any late volunteers to replace Lars or cover for JvM?

I also didnt know this event was going to run till 1 am, I thought it was just the four races.

Now I know why we - sadly - almost never meet online :D

Not to worry, in our Onattop group some will show up for the first race and not for the last, others (like me and JvM) will probably not show up in the first, but will go to the end. I guess this is one of the reasons why:

a) the event last all these hours, Jon knows that every evening/night there are players on different "shifts"

b) in our group I'm host with Stealthwinner :D

However, I'll do my best to be there since the beggining, and will surely go until the end ... and beyond, like Buzz Lightyear used to say! :)

much appreciated grim. i havent had too much time with db9 either. so perhaps i join you...👍

Has anyone got any idea how to stop the back end of this bloody DB9 from letting go. I have tried all tunes and some of my own. The only thing I have found is that adding weight actually seems to give more grip.

It is driving me up the wall, struggling to get better than a 2'17.8, I am hardly touching the accelrator, as soon as I try to add power it lets go. It is like driving the thing on ice (The World Is Not Enough) {Pardon the pun}. :)

Same thing with M3, i played around with rear camber/ rear toe and gearing, doesn;t twitch now but to nervous to boot it so satisfied with bringing up the rear

How are the other M3 users coping?

Im struggling aswell in the M3. Even more so with SixAxis. Anyone in my group driving the DB9 fancy a swap  ............. please!

having some trouble with that myself. i try to roll through the turns, and then floor it when the car is straight.
hope it helps. its still quite fast, but if you push too hard with this car you loose time.

Hi all, should be able to make the first race and stay for a couple of hours.

Just had a quick practice with the M3. Although it's a 10 minute job, I think I've got a decent tune. Lap times are mostly 2:14s with the odd 2:13. Not sure how that compares with you guys but at least it seems pretty stable. Oh well, I'll see how it goes and maybe tune between races! Should be fun!

you tune a car in 10 min. that's fast. does teaching me also 10 min, then teach me.

Only because I get bored after 10 minutes! I never know whether it's any good really - as long as I get round the first corner without stacking it and it feels ok that's usually as far as I get! :dunce::lol:
