I was kidnapped by the Venezuelan National Guard (Civil division of the Army). Spent a total of 2 hours with them, being beat up with batons, swords (the flat side), helmets, kicks, punches, and other military paraphernalia. They also detonated a tear gas bomb inside a closed truck with myself inside and some other Guards using gas masks while they beat me some more. In total, about 30 guards beat me up.

After the ordeal I spent six hours at the ICU, two weeks on a wheel chair, a month with a cane and about two with an ankle brace. Had many traumas (encephalic, lumbar, abdominal, pulmonary, liver, etc.), bruises all over and you get the picture, so to speak. No broken bones, though... thanks to being a big guy, or so the doctor said.
HOLY CRAP, thats nasty man. I feel for you anyway, I had a cousin who lived over in Northern Ireland, the key word is had a cousin. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got blown up by a car bombe, he wasn't even in the car just walking past when the guy got in and set it off. I didn't know him really, I met him once when I was 5 and he was 14, he was 19 when he was killed.

I would think a motorbike accident would have more burn or "skid" marks, wouldn't it? Unless, of course, one would be wearing the proper equipment.

But no, nothing to do with that.

My wife witnessed the "pick up", while they beat me on the street in front of her and shot machine guns and tear gas at the surrounding houses. After that the shoved me into the truck and later literally dropped me off at the highway, where they proceeded to kick me some more and even shot at me... I'm still not sure if they missed on purpose.

On a side note, it's important to know that neither before nor after this have I been a political activist, and in no means was my kidnapping pin pointed... just was in the wrong place at the wrong time... and I belonged to the wrong type of people: the government opposition.

And that's about it.
WOW. :(

I'm so sorry for what happened. At least you made it through it all. 👍

Yeah. I'm really sorry to hear that. I guess you are doing better and I'm glad. 👍

I'm sorry to hear about live4speed's cousin as well. In both cases, it just wasn't necessary. 👎

Are they gone now Diego440?

Nope... I'm the one who's gone... a few posts before posting my pics I mentioned I'm in the process of political asylum, so there you have it.

Thanks for the support posts. Still, the reason I left my country was because once I went to the proper authorities, I got charged with altering public order (or something to that effect), punishable with up to one year in prison, depending on the charge. And later on, a bunch of people in similar conditions (the National Guard kidnapped around 50 people in that week) and I presented a suit against the Venezuelan government at the International Court, in The Hague... after that, the most relevant people were randomly killed (a la Mafia hits) and others were threatened. In my case, the police started following me and opening investigations with all my friends, family and work (just intimidation) and after I got here I became a wanted man, for treason, the highest-penalized crime in the country (35 years).

So, thanks again for the support. I'll keep you posted on the progress. Even after this time, I'm still a jerk, so I guess it all came out okay. :sly:

total random fact: I got my arm pulled out of socket at just age 3.

Did it come off?

I know a woman who had problems closing a garage door and something caught on her wedding ring and pulled her finger right off.

I think so(I have a disorder which makes it hard to remember things). what happened was I reaching for something and the window had all of a sudden closed and it pulled it out. it was just dangling. even at 16 years old, I still have a barely visible scar on the top of it, where the window hit it.

Holy ****, just reading the last two pages makes me all paranoid about windows and streets. :nervous:

yeah me too, that sounds terrifying.

As for me, i like attempting stupid things, me and my mate have been cliff climbing, jumping off of huge walls and trying to jump up small walls.

i once attempted to jump up a small segment of sea wall, (only 7-10 foot high) i was gonna grab the top and pulll up but i forgot it curled round and i jumped into it, my body curled round and winded myself badly :(

TwinTurboJay, thanks... support is always appreciated.

I went mountain trekking about two months ago and saw these two jackasses jumping from big boulders (about 3-4 metres high, or 10-15 feet), using long wooden poles for support, kind of like the ones pole jumpers use, but less flexible... ever tried that?

Another random fact about myself: Up to a couple fo weeks ago, I was an illegal worker... the asylum process doesn't allow me to work in the country until a year has passed... and the year passed a couple of weeks ago, so I already have the permit (yay!)... no more bouncing/bartending!

well the time that happened, I was in an old apartment building that had window problems and that day, it finally gave way so wouldn't worry about that. the doctors were able to pop it back in and ever since, nothing else serious.

  • I've split my head open 14 times, and now my head is basically as hard as a rock.
  • Got kicked out of home and disowned by my parents.
  • I own a 1982 Datsun Bluebird Venturer! God that rules.
  • Broken all of my fingers. One of them is still bent out of shape.
  • Earn $145 a week, go to school, and petrol prices are $1.25 a litre currently. That's where my money goes.
  • Live with my beautiful girlfriend of almost 8 months. (That better get some browny points if she reads this!)

Long-winded story I think I posted a while back when it happened. Basically, I wanted to get my car registered, and if I didn't get it on that day, it would've had to go for a Blue Slip, and noone wants that. I argued for ages with my dad, because I only had one class at school, and I could've caught up, I just needed my car registered, but I gave up to save arguing and agreed to go to school. The next morning I missed the bus, and my dad told me to take my car and censored off. I got disowned, because I refused my dad's help when I wanted to get tyres put on my car (my other ones had been slashed), and I could do it myself on that day, rather than wait another day.

I work at a Supermarket packing shelves. It's mediocre, but it's only part-time while I'm at school, it's easy, and it pays well ($10 an hour roughly) for my age.

I'm in Year 12, last year of High School.

whacking it too hard?

speaking of the subject...

I learned that you use conditioner, not shampoo, the hard way. 🤬

It burnt with the power of 300 thousand sweet jesuses.

I have an urge to eat a chicken and donna kebab.

My mates eye twitches when he gets punched in it, is there any connection you see there?

It's like that eh . Funnily enough though, well it's shouldn't be funny but it was, a mate of mine did get puch in the eye, it was by his now ex-girlfriend.
