Rare UCD Cars?

Few days ago I saw a very long Chevrolet similar to Nascar cars but I don't remember the name... I think it's rare
Also the Alfa 155 DTM and Ford GT40

I saw this Alfa in the first few days of playing GT5 and I thought ''...cool...'', I'll buy that next time I see it, which I haven't since, that was five weeks ago and I play GT5 every day, religiously looking at the Used Car Dealership after every 2-3 races.

In the end I did a trade on this forum's marketplace and got one yesterday.

So yes, extremely rare, if you see it, BUY IT!

I've seen a few GT40's, there's one for 1,000,000 which I believe is an early prototype / concept model from 2002.

Overall, I think the 22b Impreza is pretty rare for everyone... I saw it today just for the 1st time since I started the game... bought it, obviously...

For me, my rare car, call it my "unicorn", was the Viper GTSR Concept... before last night it had showed up only once... fortunately... yesterday was my day :)

Viper GTSR Concept is a great car, so is 22B Scooby, other really good cars are the NSX LM prototype road car, VW Nardo concept and NISMO R33gtr Le Mans road car.

I bought 2 of each, well 3 22B's, one for irreversable tuning (weight reduction and NA enging tuning) and one to leave stock.

You have to keep your options open!!
 
Always wanted a Denso Toyota Supra, and I take my first look at the UCD for a while, and thar she blows! Beautiful.

There was also a FGT there, and I had the money.. But I wasnt a high enough level :(

Yeah, it will come, eventually, but it's a bit of a let down, considering the RX7 Le Mans race car is the same price (1 million), but so much faster.

I hate to say it, as I was hoping the Diablo would be something special on the track, but I just think it's gong to end up a novelty car, rather than an online beast.

It's one ugly ........

I saw a car in UCD today that I've never seen before, I was a bit shocked. It was a concept R35 (Toyko Motorshow Edition), basically very similiar looking to the R35 Proto in the new Nissan dealer.

The one in used was twice as expensive though, 1 million :(

Still bought it though!!

Next to it was a NISMO 400R and opposite it was a NISMO R33 gtr Le Mans road car aswell, I nearly choked on my cuppa, bought them both, even though I've already got 2 of each!!!!

Maybe I got a bit excited because my cheese and ham toastie was just about ready...

Managed to snap up a Trial Celica today, I've been after it for a while and started to believe it wasn't in the game! :lol: Had to pass on the Nissan R92CP too, I couldn't spare 4.1 million credits for it. I'll probably regret this decision if it doesn't appear again for a while!
 
There's only a couple of rare cars I've found:

Cuda Six Pack (Bought it once, looked through the UCD for a long time and never came across it again. When I drove it online got a lot of comments from peeps saying that I'm lucky I got the car. Dunno whats so special about it)

That Spyker Car (I saw it near the start of the game but couldnt buy it. Never seen again and alot of people have been saying its a rare car)

Nismo 350Z Tuned Concept (I'm not quite sure about this one though. Might be rare might not)

Corvette touring car (I got this through a gift car ticket. Never ever seen it in the UCD though and I've been in the UCD loads)

FX45 Concept (Same as Cuda)

These cars aren't exactly the most expensive but I do think some of them are rare.
 
Actually I've seen the six-pack Cuda and the Spyker a lot in my UCD... :)

The Alfa Touring Car... well... that's another story... I haven't seen it yet!!! :nervous:

The Nomad... I've seen it only once... I bought it... and yes.... it's nothing special... ended up trading him for the GT by Citroen race car... wich is also a big letdown... that badass looking car should have A LOT MORE POWER :grumpy:

A NISMO 350Z concept, not heard of that before, there's plenty of special edition 350 / 370 Z's in there, can you provide some more info on it please..??

Same with Vette touring car, I've seen some rare road Vette's and the Vette race car but not a touring car, info..??

My bad, spelt the name wrong of the 350z.

All I remember about the description is that I think gran turismo helped make it and this was created for a great driving experience not racing lol.
I'll try find some more about it.

And the vette I just got yesterday. I turned off the PS3 straight after so I don't know anything about it. All I know is it's yellow and it's fast.

Its likely the 2000 C5-R (its the only yellow vette race car), I think its an ALMS race car.

Its a fairly rare one, I was a bit disappointed with it though.
 
There are various cars I'm always on the lookout for in the UCD, and have been fairly successful... however, there is one that is DEFINITELY my 'unicorn':

Volkswagen Golf I GTI '76

It's probably cheap and others probably hate the car, but I want it.. have not seen it once since release day. Currently been looking for a blue 22B, but no 22B's have shown at all.

I saw it and thought, "overpriced DTM car", fail.

Also, I saw both the Oreca Viper, and a Viper Concept, skipped both.

Ive seen all the rare cars mentioned multiple times except the fan car. My day count in game is almost two years as a bit of a perspective.

LOL that Alfa is one of the rarest cars I've seen, or not seen as the case may be. Very cool car, alot of people want it.

Viper Concept road car is awesome, expensive but very very good, I got 2 of them aswell. Highly recommended.

While not rare an odd rare thing happened for me. Now that I have enough credits and I am almost completed through expert on A-Spec I decided to look over the full list to see cars I wanted.

So the I have been looking for Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 95 (I had a 91 RS and the 95 is as close as they get) and the Focus RS'02 (I have a 05 5 door) And hadn't seen either of them in the few days since I started looking.

Today after doing a few turns at Indy credit grinding (to have extra credits for toys) I saw the Eclipse, bought it, then went back to look at the next page and right below the eclipse, start of the next page was the Focus. Now need to have new stuff to look for.
 
I got the Alfa 155 DTM, kinda disappointed, but atleast I didn't pay a penny for it.
toyota gt-one race car, mclaren f1 gtr race car, and nomad diablo.

That Viper is surprisingly a beast, it handles so nice. I expected it to handle like all the other vipers.
 
I am waiting for the Ford Falcon AU race car.
From what i've read, it supposedly exists, and will sell for approx 1.3 mil credits.
Hopefully, it will sound as good as it did in GT4........and not like most of the other cr@p sounding cars in GT5. :grumpy:
 
The only rare cars that exists in this game is the ones you are looking for. I bet if you were looking for a "Mazda MX5 J Limited (NA, J) '91" (not the Eunos Roadster J-limited, nor the MX5 Miata J-limited) you wouldnt be able to find one.
