It handled very very well in GT4, I wasn't sure whether to get it in GT5, so glad I did.
It's a great car, despite being a bit heavy, it feels really very good, totally blows away so many other cars.

what's rated the higher, vintage japanese cars before the 80's or after? I see a lot of talking about the 80's cars, any reason why? Their handling or is because the some sort of "cult" like status? I never touch the 80's versions.... I tend to look at what they look like, 'cause I don't know much about their handling, I guess.

I am waiting for the Ford Falcon AU race car.
From what i've read, it supposedly exists, and will sell for approx 1.3 mil credits.
Hopefully, it will sound as good as it did in GT4........and not like most of the other cr@p sounding cars in GT5.
Yes it does exist. Cr.1,238,356 mine cost. In GT4 I thought it sounded significantly better than a lot of the other cars. In GT5 it sounds ok, but other cars have improved, so it doesn't stand out as much. Still a nice car to drive.

I don't think cars from any era or country are generally the best, when you look at the variety of cars in the Used Car Dealership it is quite varied. There's diferent reasons for people liking them or valuing them, as you've mentioned, performance and their cult status are quite important factors, but brand loyalty, how rare they are (both in real life and GT5) and even how they look are also factors.
Some of the cars that handle really well that I have got from there include:
NSX R Le Mans Prototype road car
NISMO R33 gtr Le Mans Road car
VW Nardo concept
Viper GTSR concept
Subaru 22B & Spec C '05 (some people think this is rare, others don't)
The list could go on for a long way, but these are just a quick selection.
These are rare (and very expensive), I've only seen these in Used Dealeship a few times, howver, there are quite a few of them in the GT5 marketplace - maybe searching through adverts or placing a wanted ad would help you obtain one quicker..??

But so far I have never ever seen the Sauber Mercedes C9 Race Car '89
Yeah, Sauber C9 is in Used Dealership, I've seen it quite alot, it's 5,100,000 credits, so make sure you've got enough to buy it in case it suddenly pops up, which it will at some point. Again, GT5 marketplace maybe??

Ugh....there's no denying the LS1 is a better engine than the LT1, its not even arguable. I can only assume you're trying to make some silly point that you have a modified LT1 that is running quicker than some LS1's. Mod for mod, the LS1 is still going to come out ahead of an LT1 everytime because its a superior design...period.

I saw the Sauber last night in my UCD for the first time since GT5 was released, but sadly I was short 2 mil and there was no way for me to earn it before it dissapeared. I have many 1 mil plus cars in my garage and I couldn't even sell any of them to get the money for the Sauber, that really pissed me off. I can somewhat understand not being able to sell a gift/prize cars but I was really pissed to see that I can't even sell the high price cars that I bought from the UCD or dealership with my money. That's just not right.

I've been looking for a Pagani Zonda C12S recently, anyone know roughly how much it (or the C12S 7.3) goes for on the UCD?
I have the Jag XJ220, but stupidly passed up on the 90's Aston Martin Vantage... I think I'll regret not snapping it up. Ah well, my modern Supercars list is getting pretty comprehensive now.

Great comment, on a rare car thread with WW3 going on this forum about people who glitch or duplicate against those who don't.
There's two Zonda C12s's, one is around 300-400,000 and the other is about 1,000,000, not sure exactly what the differences are though. There's a bigger difference between the standard entry level Zonda road car and the cheaper C12s, entry level is roughly 350bhp and the cheaper C12s is around 500bhp - but they cost almost the same.

Rare is a relative and massively overused/devalued term, but I'm ~1700 game days in and have only seen the NSX-R Concept '01, R390 GT1 Road Car '98, NSX-R Prototype LM Race Car and NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car once, and have never seen the GT-R LM Road Going Version, '95,W12 Nardo Concept '01 or either of the Opel DTM's (have the Vauxhall equivalent).
They'll all show eventually, just need to make sure I have money in the bank for them when they do.đź‘Ť

However, Spec C '05 = 30,000
Some people over look the spec C but in real life it's supposed to be one of the best Subaru Impreza's ever made, plus it's alot rarer then the 22B.
22B seems to be getting all the attention though...
I'm sure there is some form of chaining going on with used cars. When the.mugen and spoon s2000 appeared I bought them then the lm appeared then a spoon race car versionshowed up.

It's hard to explain my theory without sounding contradictory.
Generally, some cars appear alot, some others appear less frequently and so on until you get to some cars that have only appeared maybe once or twice.
However, the cars people have only seen once or twice are not the same for everyone, (BUT the length of time people have been playing the game and the regularity of visits to the used car delaership also vary - so some people might have missed a car or two, or are not 'due' to see a car yet).
It seems the regularity of cars appearing is similiar but specifically what cars this relates to differs for different people.
(If that makes any sense, which I think it doesn't)
