RE Amemiya MK RX-7 (is it really MK?): 91/100
Well, I don't mean 'Mark' by MK, I was just too lazy to type the full name (Matsumoto Kiyoshi I believe), so I just abbreviated it. Sorry for the that
.
Anyway, back on topic.
BP Apex Kraft Trueno: 98/100
My rating would surprise some, but believe me, this car earns it and truly deserves it. No, I don't mean it can beat the Excuseo, GT-One, or any other supercars in GT2, not at all. But what I mean is, this car is
THE best in its class. In its own way, it is a
supercar.
You may argue that the Xanavi Silvia, Amemiya RX7, or the Cusco Impreza is faster. It's certainly true on the straights, but in the corners, where it matters, the BP Trueno will outclass them. The slight twinge of understeer will get in the way sometimes if you brake too late, but hey, no car is perfect. And the lightweight still makes up for what it lacks: power. I can't tell you how many times I've beaten the GT500 and many similar races with this car, against Skylines, Supras, NSXs, this car will hold its own. Stays true to its legend (if you watch Initial D), it can certainly beat cars with twice as much power if you drive it right.
2 points off because (again) you can't get it reliably from the GT300 Championship, the GT2 random car prize system just truly truly sucks 👎.
Next Car: Since we're on GT300 cars, why not
Momo Corse Apex MR2
