6/10, all of which are pretty much points for performance. The Golf R stopped interesting me after they stopped using that VR6 with the introduction of the VI R. I had a friend whose father had a V R32. What a nice-sounding car that was.

Well the engine needed to cool a lot so they opened the lid and found they could go 11 km/h faster so it's a brilliant idea.




No it's not, it's a stupid idea to fit a bigger engine in a rollerskater. But the car is awsome nonetheless.

If I remember correctly, the hood is open because it improved cooling and reduced drag or something.

6/10. Cool concept, but it's let down by some of the over-macho styling cues and the tacky graphics. I'd much rather take a normal F-150 and put a lift kit on it, and could probably do so for a bit cheaper. They're also really popular here, which was nice at first, but it gets a little old seeing bulky trucks with fake dirt graphics wherever you go. The 6/10 only applies to the newer 6.2L model as well; 5.4-equipped Raptors only get a 5/10.

Fun fact - its front light consist of 850 diodes; they have many functions (?) and can be used to display pretty much anything.
