Was originally going to nominate the XT6 but I found out that one of the coolest features of the XT, the ultra rad gauges, wasn't a feature on it. So, changed it to the normal XT. There wasn't much of a visual difference anyway. The 30hp increase probably would have swayed votes for the 'power output that no one knows about defines car coolness' crowd perhaps but I doubt with a car like this the votes would of been any different anyway.

This car is the, except for the XT6, the hardest car I have ever had to get pictures decent pictures of. The reason there is only two pictures of the rear is because those are the only two decent ones I could find. The XT6 was even worse, only one actual picture of the rear and it was of a shoddy example.

These also had an awesome video advertisement:

that car :embarrassed: simply awesome!

Well, you could always discuss the cars which are currently being polled rather than clogging up this thread with off topic discussion. Please.

Okay, the game can wait. This is more important.

The engine is slightly tuned by MG Rover chancing torque curve, but leaving horsepower as it is from Ford. To cope with 260 horsepower of the V8, FWD chassis of standard ZT got chanced to RWD one. Development involving Prodrive was delayed so planned 2002 release didn't happen until September 2003. Only 152 MG ZT-T 260 were built before MG Rover bankrupted in 2005. The only visible differences between standard ZT-T and 260 version are badging and quad-exhaust.

The successor of the fabled "Hakosuka" GT-R. The "Kenmeri" was expected to carry on the GT-R name but the car was a victim of the ongoing oil crisis that started when production began. Only 197 examples were built before Nissan halted production and the GT-R badge disappeared for 16 years before returning on the R32 Skyline in 1989.

Also the steering and the suspension were tuned by Lotus. The Lotus version can be distinguished from a standard Carlton/Omega by small Lotus badges, bodykit, vents on the bonnet and a rear spoiler. It was only available in very dark green. Only 950 were made before the production was discontinued, due to low sales.

The R390 is now being polled, so here is my second nomination.

1991 Nissan Figaro
1991 Nissan Figaro.jpg

Engine: 1.0L turbocharged inline-4
Body style: 2-door convertible
Power: 75 BHP @ 6,000 RPM
Torque: 78 lb/ft @ 4,440 RPM
Transmission: 3-speed automatic
Drivetrain: Front engined, front wheel drive
Weight: 810 Kg/1,790 lbs
Additional information: Mechanically based on the K10-chassis Nissan March/Micra. Potential buyers had to enter a lottery draw to have the chance to buy one, with 8,000 being built. However, demand became so high that another 12,000 were made. Only came in 4 colours, each signifying the different seasons. Nissan is not branded anywhere on the car minus mechanical components, so it won't shatter the illusion of it being a classic car. Famous owners include Eric Clapton and Princess Eugenie of York, among others.

Oh, I'll put up another one since it just came flashing to my mind and the Honda 1300 ended up a solid Cool.

1933 Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow

It was so well received that it actually entered production, altough only 5 were built because, well, it cost 10k in 1933. Three still exist to this day. One of the starters of the art decó movement that would gain steam all over the world during the rest of the decade.

2015 Dodge/SRT Charger Hellcat

Body Style:
4 door sedan.
Engine: 6.2L Supercharged Hemi V8.
Power output: 707 Horsepower.
Torque: 650 ft-lbs.

Additional information: As of typing this, it is the fastest production sedan in the world, with a 1/4 time of 11 seconds, and a top speed of 204 mph. It's also the most powerful, rated at 707 horsepower. With a base MSRP of $63,995, it's also a steal.

There are three modes for the car: Street, Sport, and Track. Street shifts smoothly and early for a more comfortable ride, better mpgs, and a quieter trip. Sport mode is faster than street mode, shifting closer to redline and featuring rev-matching downshifts. The suspension is stiffer in sport mode as well. Track mode features everything sport mode has, as well as gear shifts as quick as 160 milliseconds. It also features the increased traction control of street mode, allowing you to get on the gas quicker in the corners.

1949-1956 Saab 92/92B

Saab-92-green.jpg

Body Style:

2 door coupe.
Engine: 764cc Two Stroke.
Power: 25hp
Torque: 51 lb-ft.
Weight: 805kg.
Transmission: 3 speed manual.
Drivetrain: Transverse front engined front wheel drive.
Additional Information: Saab manufactured 1,246 cars in 1950 – all of them green. The cost of production was critical to Saab at the time and only 17% of the cost of the 92 was from imported materials. Hence the Henry Ford principle of any colour you like as long as it’s green in Saab’s case! It has been said that the reason that the first Saabs were available in this colour only was that they had a surplus of green paint left over from their wartime aircraft production
