Alright, there's been a constant 60+ cars in the queue lately and I've been getting requests to step up the polling. So here's how we're going to do this:

> Like this post if I should poll 2 cars every other day (like I've been doing already).
> Send me a PM if I should poll 3 cars every other day.
> Quote this post and say "third option" if I should poll 2 cars every day.

This will go on until 6 AM EST tomorrow (1/22/15).
3rd option.

I went against the grain and PM'd him. I thought I'd should show why I have done so: (quoted due to being what I sent to @GranTurismo916

I feel having them everyday will just clog up the forum with nothing but cool wall threads, leaving other threads getting buried in them. I also think having a rest day of polling threads is a good idea as it allows discussion in the threads happen for a bit, which I feel is the best part of the cool wall threads as I actually learn a lot about the cars in the process.

YO! SPD, WHY YOU DOUBLE POST?!

Calm down, buddy. Here's why!

"And with the wind ripping new configurations in your eyebrows and the engine in full honk, you're not going to give one whit about absent windows or door handles. Because this Viper is one of the most exciting rides since Ben Hur discovered the chariot."

Time to see if the Miura will finally get a mate!

An engineering tour de force of awe-inspiring power and ability, the 1987-88 Porsche 959 was the "everything car" enthusiasts dream about - the one that can do it all.

1986 - 1989 Porsche 959

Porsche%2B959%2B_1.jpg

Source.

The Porsche 959 was one of the 80’s ultimate supercars and may also be considered as the first car of the supercar species. 959 also stands for the superb technology platform in which the latest technical innovations from the famous Porsche development centre Weissach were included. It’s only rival at the time was another legend: the radical lightweight bi-turbocharged Ferrari F40.

Production Year: 1986 - 1989

Body Style: 2-door Coupe (uberwagen i.e the Beetle's class of car)

Price: $225,000

Engine: 2.85 liter, twin-turbo flat 6, boxer engine.

Power Output: 450 Horsepower

Torque: 370 lb ft

Top speed: 195 MPH (314 KM/H)

0-60: 3.7 seconds

Transmission: 6-speed manual

Length: 4,260 mm (168 in)

Width: 1,840 mm (72 in)

Height: 1,280 mm (50 in)

Weight: 1,450 kg

Tires: Bridgestone RE71 Denloc, especially made for the 959.

Drivetrain: Rear engined, 4 Wheel Drive.

My Take On This: There aren't enough Porsches on the list. Here you go! Have fun putting it next (or above) the F40!

I personally think it should have been allowed. The original poll was effectively for the Bel Air, the fact that Chevrolet's other saloon cars of the time were lumped in seems a little unfair. Either way I think Custom should be allowed another nomination.
I'm definitely allowing another nomination. It's also the curator's job (or jobs, because I was only assistant at the time this nomination was made) to check whether nominations have been polled or not. I'll even post it today if @Custom878 posts a new nomination today.

1990-Present Nissan Tsuru (Sentra B13)
1.jpg

Body Style: 2/4-Door Sedan
Engine: 1.6L I4 DOHC GA16DNE
Power Output: 105 HP
Torque: 102 lb-ft
Weight: Dry weight 946-987kg
Transmission: 5-Speed manual
Drivetrain: Front engine, front wheel drive
Additional Information: The Mexican special, since it's favored by taxi drivers, and more often than not police officers, you can find parts for these everywhere, and it's really easy to fix. Also since it has no driver assists, this is possibly the most engaging car to drive nowadays.

Two cars every day is grossly oversaturating. Lock nominations and just poll whatever is currently on the list in the standard two per week format until the current list has been exhausted. Then reopen nominations, have a bit of a break from polling while nominations pile up again, then relock the nomination thread and repoll the list two per week.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

Like any good television show, the cool wall needs to operate in a seasonal manner and not constantly around the clock. You're killing the novelty with flooding and neutering the interest and excitement with too many threads consecutively.

This is a good idea, but it's a lot of work on top of what I'm already doing. I could try it, but people are going to have to agree. The majority of cool wall followers seem to think that 2 a day is okay.
