1999 - 2004 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage/Volante
47398.jpg

Body Style:
2 door coupe, 2 door convertible
Engine: 5,9 L V12
Power Output: 420 bhp @ 6000 rpm
Torque: 400 lbs-ft @ 5000 rpm
Weight: 1780 kg (Vantage), 1875 (Volante)
Transmission: 6 speed manual, 5 speed automatic
Drivetrain: Front engined, rear wheel drive.
Additional Information: This is the newer, revised, version of the old I6 DB7 (1994 - 1999 version), featuring a new 420 bhp 5.9L engine and more aggressive styling cues.

Nice, nice, the elegant DB7, in one of its best versions (only the GT and the GTA are better than the Vantage/Volante duo).

Also, I know I'm going to get bashed for nominating yet another bland car, but I found this vehicle while researching for info on another car I was going to nominate (the Nissan March Bolero). This might be one of the very first cars of its kind to be polled in the Cool Wall; a rebadged car with almost no badges at all:

2001 Muji Car 1000

MUJI_CAR_1000_front-side.jpg

Body Style: 3-door hatchback
Engine: 1.0 litre CG10DE Inline-4 engine
Power Output: 59 hp @ 6000 rpm
Torque: 62 lbs·ft @ 4000rpm
Weight: 840 kg
Transmission: 4-speed automatic
Drivetrain: Front engined, front wheel drive.
Additional Information: A collaboration between Japanese retail company Muji, famous for its "no brand" approach to its business of selling retail goods, and Nissan, the Muji Car 1000 is a badgeless and decontented second generation Nissan March/Micra, limited to 1,000 units in 2001. The car, sold exclusively through Muji's online network as a test subject for said system, was a spartan vehicle, sold with basic hubcaps, vinyl-upholstered rear seats and only one choice of engine and transmission. It also followed Henry Ford's idea of one sole body colour as well, since it was only sold in "marble white"...

First ever nomination, excuse me if I screw up. :P

1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake

View attachment 345754

Body Style: 2-door roadster
Engine: 427 cubic-inch, twin supercharged V8
Power Output: 800 HP
Torque: 462.0 ft-lbs @ 2800 RPM
Weight: 939 kg
Transmission: 3-speed automatic
Drivetrain: Front-engine, rear wheel drive
Additional Information: Sold for $5.1 million USD at the 2015 Barrett Jackson Scottsdale Auction. Only two were ever produced. One was Carroll Shelby's personal car, which Ron Pratt then bought at the 2007 Scottsdale Auction, for $5.5 million USD. The other was owned by Bill Cosby. He sold it, and it was then totaled in a crash.

@GranTurismo916 I just edited a few things, if you could use this more updated version.

Ok, after polling the Samurai (which suffered due to its racing car status, but still did decently well), and the Muji, which is doing surprisingly good considering the agressive uncool responses to other similar average cars in the Wall recently, now it's finally the time to bring forth the car which I was going to nominate the first time around;

1965-1967 Hino Contessa 1300 Coupe

Contessa1300_31.jpg

Body Style: 2-door coupe
Engine: 1,251 cc GR100 naturally-aspirated inline-4 engine
Power Output: 64 horsepower
Torque: 72 ft-lb
Weight: 945 kg
Transmission: 4-speed manual transmission
Drivetrain: Rear engined, rear wheel drive car
Additional Information: The coupe variant of the second generation Hino Contessa, and one of Hino's last road cars before the brand's purchase by Toyota, which in turn led to Hino shifting their focus towards truck manufacturing. Design comes from Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti, also responsible for the Triumph Herald and Stag, along many others. In racing, Australian driver Pete "King of the Mountain" Brock sucessfully raced a 1300 Coupe towards a victory in the Mission Bell 100, at the Riverside Raceway in North America. Teammate Bob Durham followed suit in 2nd place, giving the BRE Hino Coupes a 1-2 victory. The 1300 Coupe's engine was then used for Brock's Hino prototype, my first Cool Wall nomination, the BRE Hino Samurai.

Here's my nomination @GranTurismo916
photo2.jpg

Marcos Mantis GT '97
Production Year: 1997-2000(Actually the Mantis had 51 cars with 16 being the GT version)
Body Style: 2door coupe/convertible
Engine: V8 charged, 4.6 liters(281 ci)
Horsepower: 499-500hp
Torque: 613 Nm(454 lb-ft)
Weight: 1100 kg
Transmission: 6speed manual
Drivetrain: FR
Max Speed: 288kph

In 1997 the Mantis name was re-used on a 2-seater coupé or convertible road car based on the LM series powered by the 4.6 litre all-aluminium quad-cam Ford 'Modular' engine producing 327 bhp (244 kW; 332 PS) and capable of 170 mph (270 km/h). To accommodate the engine the bonnet of the Mantis was significantly remodelled from the previous LM range (that used the Rover V8), and the upper chassis rails in the engine bay were widened. Price for the Mantis was £46883.

In 1998 it was decided to supercharge the engine to produce the first British production sports car with over 500 bhp (373 kW; 507 PS), this being named the Mantis GT. Using a Vortech supercharger, and intercooler the Mantis GT engine produced 506 bhp (377 kW; 513 PS), which could accelerate the car from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds. Price for the Mantis GT was £64331.

Production of the Mantis was 51 cars, with 16 being the supercharged GT version (this does not include the Mantis Challenge race cars).

Had to replace a few images due to some issues.
I know this may seem off topic, but... Doesn't it have a Turbodiesel engine? You might want to adjust that if @GranTurismo916 permits it.
