I was just wondering why your Mustang front aero was white when the one I had was black... then I remember the stripes on mine we're black not white... Crap, they look better in white

Why I am seeing a 3-way battle between Yuka Civic, Dave Atenza (?) and Shin's Mustang ?
Yeah it looks way better in silver. The Mustang on my shelf is black and silver. :D

Not sure, maybe someone is writing chapters behind my back.
Woo, I rewrote Yuka history!

If pointing out typos is rewriting history, sure. :P

Well I corrected Yuka and survived... ;)

Chapter 43 - Fight To The Finish

It was race day. Yuka and Hitomi waited patiently in their hotel room, waiting for Sapphire’s call.

Hitomi: Oh yeah I’ve been meaning to ask. How’s Kei doing with her driving lessons? Did she buy that Copen yet?
Yuka: No… Oh shoot! I completely forgot to tell that Dex guy to send me the money!
Hitomi: Well do it now while we’re sat here doing nothing.
Yuka: Okay, hold on.

Yuka grabbed her phone and begun typing a text to Dex.

Hey, it’s Yuka, the Civic girl. Remember me? You said you’d buy me a car after I beat you at Suzuka a while back. Send 1.5 mil Yen to my bank account. My bank details are

Hitomi: Ehhh… That’s not very sincere Yuka.
Yuka: Quit reading over my shoulder! Besides he’s just another cocky racer. He doesn’t deserve my sincerity.
Hitomi: If you say so. How do you know he’ll send the money anyway? Maybe he was just bluffing.
Yuka: Well I’m just going to take that chance.
Hitomi: And 1.5 million? Isn’t Kei’s Copen 950,000?
Yuka: So? There’s leftovers for insurance and road tax.
Hitomi: Oh Yuka, you’re good. You’re really good.
Yuka: Seriously! If I wanted to scam him I’d put a full two million and blow kisses at him to seal the deal.
Hitomi: Maybe you should.
Yuka: No need, we’re making so much money already by racing.
Hitomi: True.

Yuka added her bank details to the text and sent it to Dex.

Yuka: There. I’ll check my account online tomorrow and hopefully it should be 1.5 million Yen heavier.
Hitomi: And if it isn’t, I’ll text him next time.
Yuka: Hell no! You’re not pretending to be me again!
Hitomi: I said I was sorry about that time!
Yuka: Yeah well it didn’t help the fact you kissed our senior and then gave him my name! I’d never had such an awkward moment before in my life…
Hitomi: At least nothing bad came of it.
Yuka: I’ll do the texting, don’t worry about it.

Just then, the hotel phone started ringing. Hitomi rushed over to it and answered.

Hitomi: Hitomi speaking.
Sapphire: Hey! Your car is done. It’s ready when you are.
Hitomi: Oh hey Sapphire! That’s great! Can you bring it to the Nurburgring?
Sapphire: If you’ll give me a lift back to the workshop after the race, sure.
Hitomi: Great. We’ll meet you over at the track.
Sapphire: I’ll see you then.
Hitomi: Laters!

Hitomi put the phone down and turned to Yuka.

Yuka: We good?
Hitomi: We good. She’s meeting us at the track, come on.
Yuka: Yay!

Later on…

Hitomi and Yuka arrived at the Nurburgring and caught up to Sapphire.

Sapphire: Ladies, your car.

RSG-1147.jpg

Yuka: Ah, I spy a front splitter and some nicer wheels!
Hitomi: Definitely looks like you’ve been doing work.

Sapphire yawned and passed the keys to Yuka.

Hitomi: Yep, definitely. Are you okay?
Sapphire: No I’m fine. I just need a coffee.
Yuka: Go on, get your coffee, we’re up soon anyway. I can’t wait to race!
Sapphire: I can’t wait to see you win. Alright then, I’ll see you two after you win!

Meanwhile…

Bert: Hey Sven.
Sven: Ja?
Bert: See those girls with the BMW?
Sven: Ja?
Bert: I make a bet with you. Last one to overtake them must drive my sister’s pink Audi TT for a week.
Sven: Ja. I’m in.
Bert: My R8 Quattro versus your SLS AMG. Are you afraid my friend?
Sven: Nein.

Starting Grid
1. Red Mercedes SL600
2. Grey Mercedes E55 AMG
3. Red Audi RS6 Avant
4. Silver BMW M5
5. Black Mercedes SL600
6. Silver Audi RS6 Avant
7. Yuka & Hitomi’s Grey BMW 135i
8. Bert’s White Audi R8
9. Silver BMW M3 GTR
10. Sven’s Blue Mercedes SLS
11. Grey Audi RS6
12. Blue Mercedes C63 AMG

SL600 Driver #1: I’ll win in complete comfort here.

RSG-1100.jpg

E55 Driver: My car feels good. I’m confident with my odds.

RSG-1101.jpg

RS6 Driver #1: Nothing like a race at The Green Hell before going to Ikea with the wife.

RSG-1102.jpg

M5 Driver: This is BMW’s territory and this is BMW’s finest M car. You people don’t have a chance.

RSG-1103.jpg

SL600 Driver #2: A good Mercedes showing here. Very good. Even if I don’t win, Mercedes will ultimately win.

RSG-1104.jpg

RS6 Driver #2: The great thing about having a wagon is that you can lose a lot of weight just by removing the rear seats and carpeting and still no one suspects it’s for racing.

RSG-1105.jpg

Yuka: Ahh! It feels so different!
Hitomi: I hope it’s the right kind of different.
Yuka: Mmm. The suspension seems tighter and this fresh rubber is helping too.
Hitomi: Yeah, it was nice of Sapphire to throw in those wheels and tyres. Just as well really, now we don’t have any hellaflush nonsense to get in our way.

RSG-1106.jpg

Bert: Haha if I overtake these girls now, Sven cannot win this bet!

RSG-1107.jpg

M3 Driver: Was that a 135i ahead? Why would you buy that and not an E46?

RSG-1108.jpg

Sven: German muscle, the best.

RSG-1109.jpg

RS6 Driver #3: Aw man, that SLS is going to tear us all up…

RSG-1110.jpg

C63 Driver: Mercedes will dominate today. This C63, the SLS ahead, the AMG’s further up, easy.

RSG-1111.jpg

The lights went green, Yuka floored it, flying towards the first corner. The RS6 ahead clinged to the inside. Yuka dashed to the outside to make a quick opening pass.

Bert: Hey girl! Why are you so fast in your BMW?!

RSG-1112.jpg

RS6 Driver #2: Passed already?!
Yuka: Yes!
Bert: Crap, she’s talented.

RSG-1113.jpg

Further down the pack, Sven overtook the M3 GTR with minimal effort, using the SLS’ raw power to his advantage.

Sven: You are no match.
M3 Driver: Damn that SLS!

RSG-1114.jpg

Hitomi: Full attack mode is it?
Yuka: Of course!

RSG-1115.jpg

Yuka stuck to the back of the SL600 with the more nimble 135i.

Yuka: What’s wrong? Can’t shake me?
SL600 Driver #2: Where did this 135i learn to battle? Insane skills.

RSG-1116.jpg

Yuka: Just poke my nose in here…

RSG-1117.jpg

Yuka: Just stay right there, be patient…

RSG-1118.jpg

Yuka: And dash!

RSG-1119.jpg

Yuka kept her foot planted, slowly leaving the SL600 trailing behind.

Hitomi: Foot to the floor chick! We’re not in a good position here…

RSG-1120.jpg

Yuka: Braking at 240…! Don’t want to lose it so early in the race…

RSG-1121.jpg

Yuka: Round the hairpin we go!
Hitomi: You’re catching the leading pack now! This is good progress!

RSG-1122.jpg

Yuka: Weeeeeee!

RSG-1123.jpg

Sven: Bert.
Bert: Sven, you’ve caught up.
Sven: The game is still on.

RSG-1124.jpg

Hitomi: We’ve caught up to the M5… That’s a 500 horsepower super saloon right there, think you can do it?
Yuka: Well we’ve come this far.

RSG-1125.jpg

Yuka stuck to the M5 through the next set of corners.

Yuka: This is hopeless, I can’t pass like this… Unless…
Hitomi: Yuka?
Yuka: Dive dive dive! Don’t fail me now brakes!
Hitomi: Yuka you crazy girl!

RSG-1126.jpg

The RS6 in front slowed right down for the corner. Yuka quickly changed lanes and overtook it around the outside on the corner exit.

Yuka: Two for one!

RSG-1127.jpg

Yuka: Just those two Merc’s left…
Bert: Amazing, she overtook a far superior car with no effort. Two of them infact.
M5 Driver: Beaten by a 135i?! I won’t stand for this crap!
RS6 Driver #1: One Beemer is bad enough…
Sven: It seems I need to overtake you if I want chance to win, Bert.

RSG-1128.jpg

Yuka: Oop…! The tyres aren’t really up to this high speed cornering! This is mad easy to drift though.
Hitomi: Sapphire did good.

RSG-1129.jpg

Hitomi: Alright enough goofing around, pass these AMG’s!
Yuka: Right!

Yuka pushed hard, catching right up to the E55 in no time at all. She lined up for another diving pass.

Yuka: Like before, down the inside…

RSG-1130.jpg

Yuka: Like a Miss!
E55 Driver: No way!
M5 Driver: She’s a pro at that diving pass. The 135i’s lighter chassis lets her get away with late braking. Not surprising, BMW is the best afterall.

RSG-1131.jpg

Yuka: One last SL600…
Hitomi: Get ‘em tiger!

RSG-1132.jpg

Yuka: I would… If you know, I had a V8 too…
Hitomi: Figures why he kept the lead thus far.
Yuka: I’ll get him at the upcoming corner.

RSG-1133.jpg

Yuka: At the carousel!

RSG-1134.jpg

Yuka: Stay on it!!
SL600 Driver: Crap I dropped down too far! Ugh I don’t want to lose!

RSG-1135.jpg

Yuka: Yes! Yes!
SL600 Driver: No!
Bert: There you are girlies.

RSG-1136.jpg

Yuka: Alright!
Hitomi: Woo!
Yuka: Now we bloody run for our lives!
Hitomi: Amen! Get us out of here!

RSG-1137.jpg

Yuka begun a full throttle assault on the Nurburgring, trying desperately to build a lead between herself and the barrage of German muscle chasing her. She hopped kerbs and drifted corners at high speed, doing anything she could to keep her opponents at bay.

Yuka: It’s no use!
Hitomi: Keep going!
Yuka: Ahhhhhhhh!

RSG-1138.jpg

Hitomi: There you go! You’re doing it Yuka!

RSG-1139.jpg

Yuka increased the distance between herself and the rest.

Yuka: Nearly at the end!
Hitomi: This is one long track huh?

RSG-1140.jpg

Yuka kept hard on the throttle, drifting the sweeper leading up to the longest straight on the Nurburgring.

RSG-1141.jpg

Hitomi: Look at this lead Yuka! We’ve got this! Just keep your right foot buried!

RSG-1142.jpg

Yuka did just that. She opened up the throttle and kept it wide open, using the most of her lead to stay ahead.

Bert: This isn’t over yet!
M5 Driver: I’ll accept being beaten by another BMW, but your success ends here, Audi.
Bert: Damn that V10. I’m actually outclassed.

RSG-1143.jpg

Yuka braked hard coming up to the final set of corners, scrubbing off almost all of her speed to avoid head butting the guardrail.

RSG-1144.jpg

The pack caught up with their greater top speeds, but the lead Yuka had built up before was too much to overcome. The M5 could do nothing but watch in awe as Yuka’s 135i flew around the last corner to take first place.

M5 Driver: Great battle, fellow BMW driver…

RSG-1145.jpg

Yuka: Phew…
Hitomi: We won! Yay!!

RSG-1146.jpg

After the race, Yuka and Hitomi went up to the podium to celebrate their championship win. The M5 Driver and Bert celebrated second and third respectively. The girls took the 59,300 Euro prize and the gold trophy and hugged in celebration.

Hitomi: Haha! We’re nearly there!
Yuka: Yeah!

Later on…

After celebrating their win at the Nurburgring, Yuka and Hitomi met up with Sapphire outside the Nurburgring gates.

Sapphire: Congratulations!
Yuka: Thanks!
Hitomi: Yeah, that 135i is something else.
Sapphire: Well I guess I can take some credit.
Yuka: Mhm! Anyway! We need to celebrate properly now! To dinner!
Hitomi: Ah yeah.
Sapphire: Dinner it is!

Nearby, Bert and Sven were discussing the race.

Bert: Seems none of us won, but I did do better than you.
Sven: Don’t even try this excuse. I will race you man to man if you dare.
Bert: Loser drives the pink TT?
Sven: Ja.
Bert: You’re on. Let’s sneak into the next spot race coming up.

Later on…

After taking Sapphire home after dinner, Yuka and Hitomi arrived back at the hotel.

Yuka: Ah! I’m so full!
Hitomi: Me too, but not as full as our purse!
Yuka: Oh yeah, how much do we have now?
Hitomi: 144,300 Euros after giving Sapphire that 15,000.
Yuka: Wow.
Hitomi: We won’t be getting a Gallardo though, even if we could afford it. We wouldn’t profit off it.
Yuka: Yeah I guess so.
Hitomi: But hey, look what we managed to do with 50,000 Euros. Nearly tripled it in a few weeks.
Yuka: It was a great investment.
Hitomi: Yeah. Well then, we’re off to Monza tomorrow. Get some rest, you deserve it.
Yuka: Yeah… Yawn…

Yuka collapsed onto the bed, dozing off into a deep sleep. Hitomi checked the clock, it was pretty late, but the Nurburgring hadn’t closed yet. A light bulb lit up in her head. She took the keys to the 135i from the bedside table and quietly snuck out of the hotel room.

Special thanks to Dragonthing for the cameo!

I hope Dex's phone hasn't fallen into the hands of George Akdkwango...[/Fonejacker reference]

Awesome Chapter as usual 👍

Next chapter we will see Hitomi racing in Nurburgring at night?
Thanks! 👍

And no, they have to leave for Monza in the morning. Busy schedule and all that.
I hope Dex's phone hasn't fallen into the hands of George Akdkwango...[/Fonejacker reference]
HELLO MADAME.
Yeah, hope we see some night racing soon.

As for actual night racing, yes, more will come. :D

Nice chapter! Will you make a chapter about the Grand Tour?
Unfortunately no. Reason being, I want to finish this Euro Tour storyline already. 👍
Nice chapter, and are we gonna see any flashbacks of what Hitomi did at the Ring?

Yes, actually thanks for reminding me. You can see Hitomi's little adventure at the Nurburgring in the most recent chapter of machate-man's story.

Chapter 44 - Professor TJ Schools The Noobs

The next morning Yuka woke up in the back seat of the 135i, watching the scenery pass by through the windows, seemingly travelling through some country lanes.

Yuka: Have I been kidnapped?
Hitomi: I wish.
Yuka: Oh. You could’ve woken me up instead of dumping me in the back seat like a call girl.
Hitomi: I don’t think I should go into detail about how I tried to wake you for twenty minutes straight, only to have you kick me in the face.
Yuka: Hahaha! I did that?
Hitomi: Yeah…
Yuka: I’m sorry but that is quite funny. So where are we off to? Monza?
Hitomi: Yup.
Yuka: Great!

Yuka sat up and put her seatbelt on.

Yuka: Nice of you to at least buckle me up.
Hitomi: I was in a rush.
Yuka: For what?
Hitomi: The guy in the opposite room tried to hit on me while I dragged you out of the hotel.
Yuka: Umm… Awkward?
Hitomi: Very.

Meanwhile, at TJ’s…

TJ, Dave and Frank were stood around the Atenza’s engine bay after finally getting it back in the car.

TJ: Alright, fire it up.
Dave: This’ll be epic.

Dave went around to the driver’s door and turned the key. The motor fired up almost instantly.

TJ: There we go. Rev it a bit.
Dave: Woooo!

Dave lightly prodded the throttle pedal. The Atenza revved happily, letting off a small hiss from the turbocharger.

Frank: The turbo seems to be working.
TJ: Yeah. Hey Dave, let it warm up a bit then give it a good punch.
Dave: Yes boss!
TJ: She’s purring like a kitten already. I’m more impressed at how quickly we got it done though. Frank’s extra pair of hands definitely helped.
Dave: Yeah, cheers Frank!
Frank: Anything to help a friend.
TJ: She warm yet Dave?
Dave: Slightly.
TJ: Ah go on, give it a proper flooring. It’s a Mazda, it’ll take it.
Dave: Alright!

Dave gave the Atenza a few small prods on the throttle, before giving it the maximum. The Atenza let off a couple of pops and bangs as the unburnt fuel ignited coming out of the exhaust pipes.

Dave: Woooweeee! It sounds amazing!
TJ: It’s amazing what a proper exhaust system can do to the sound of the car without using a different back box.
Dave: Amen.
Frank: Aren’t people going to think Dave is some kind of ricer though?
TJ: That’s the beauty of this car, it looks semi-ricey, but it has the punch to embarrass an unsuspecting WRX or Evo.
Dave: You think I can take out an Impreza with this thing?
TJ: Definitely.
Dave: Sweet!
TJ: Alright shut her down now. Get some rest boys, tomorrow we’ll dial the settings in. When we’re done, this Atenza is going to be a complete track weapon.
Dave: Can’t wait man, can’t wait.

Later on…

It was midnight at route 5. The local students were racing around the Clubman loop, showing off their modified cars. As usual, TJ was hanging around, spectating the races. He stood by his R33 as many of the students flocked to it to admire it up close. Like always, the students bombarded him with questions about the red Skyline.

Student #1: Hey man! Your R33 is so awesome!
TJ: Thanks.
Student #2: Are these real TE37’s?
TJ: Yup.
Student #3: How much horsepower does it have?
TJ: Over 660.
All Students: Whoa…

As the night went on, it seemed his R33 was drawing a bigger crowd than the racing itself, which wasn’t surprising. Among the sea of Civic’s, Corolla’s and Swift’s, TJ’s R33 was a major head-turner. TJ continued his impromptu Q&A session until a man approached TJ. He seemed slightly older than the students, but still looked like a student himself.

Man: Hey. You TJ?
TJ: I am. Who’s asking?
Man: The fastest guy here, but you can call me Akuji.
TJ: Is that how you kids challenge each other these days? Generic trash talk? Well fine, I’ll humour you. I hope you’ve got a car that’ll back your mouth up.
Akuji: I drive a Hawkeye Impreza. It’s not standard either. I’ve gone to the best shops in Japan to get it to this level.
TJ: Well at least you have taste. Let’s do it.

Akuji walked confidently back to his Impreza, got in, started it up and raced over to the start line.

TJ: Show off.

TJ got into his R33 and lined up beside Akuji’s Impreza. Akuji revved his Impreza multiple times, showing off to the crowd.

RSG-1148.jpg

Akuji: Ready to lose?
TJ: Nope, you?
Akuji: I won’t lose.
TJ: We’ll see.

One of the students walked up between the two cars.

Student: You two ready?
Akuji: Hell yeah I am. Ready to win.
TJ: I’m ready.
Student: Alright!

The student stood behind the guardrail as he started the count, a smart decision considering the cars he was about to send down route 5.

Student: Okay! 3! 2! 1! Go!

Both Akuji and TJ launched their turbocharged 4WD cars hard off the line. Akuji bolted off the line, using his Impreza’s superb grip to his advantage. TJ lost ground while his R33 shredded it’s tyres, painting an eleven on the tarmac.

Akuji: Ha! What a poser!
TJ: Impressive, but you forget one thing.

RSG-1149.jpg

TJ stayed hard on the throttle. The R33’s turbo spun to it’s maximum, giving the R33 a huge boost in speed to reel the Impreza in.

TJ: I’ve got a good 200 horsepower on you.
Akuji: This is a short drag! Your laggy turbo wont help you like it would on route 7!

RSG-1150.jpg

Before a couple more seconds had passed, TJ flew past Akuji’s Impreza with almost no effort, leaving it for dust.

Akuji: The hell?!
TJ: Clearly you’ve never raced anyone like me, otherwise you would’ve put more money into your top end. Impreza’s have a great launch but they run out of puff far too quickly.

RSG-1151.jpg

The Impreza fell further and further back, making it a complete walk in the park for the R33.

Akuji: Damn…

RSG-1152.jpg

Special thanks to Rotary Junkie for being Akuji!

Is it okay if me and Onboi will do the Bert vs. Sven duel for teh lulz? :D

And lol R33's shouldn't be raced on highways or else it'll demolish the competition

As in for fun between yourselves or for your review thread or do you want me to then use that replay for the fic?

That's the point. :P
Amazing, as always! Congrats for the excellent writing :)

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for all of you!

Thank you! :)

And to you too!

How much does the R33 weigh? Curious....and how much HP does the Impreza have? (I know, too many questions... :P)
