Not a 70's thing, no! :D They actually trained me an officer, lol  A "reserve officer" that is though, which is a good thing. So nothing "professional"! Every healthy guy still has to serve at least 6 months in the army. Us "leaders" they make serve 12 months.

Don't know how that's going to change in the future with all of these things happening in the EU...

But, seems it's not too easy over there either! So you don't have to have a proper safe for the gun itself? You just scatter the pieces all over the house? Sounds pretty ghetto to me!

Ooooh really! That's actually quite nice, you Finnish have more skills in the dirty life than us desk people  And guys who served are usually better mannered, atleast here.. I wanted to go to the military but I got a job handed when I was 17 I couldn't refuse, and going to the military at that point was ending what could've been a career, so.. Turned out to be a good one, Dutch military sold all tanks and fired all the people who worked with them...

Well the bulletchamber of the gun goes into the safe, and yeah ghetto the hell outta your gun through your house! :D

thats crazy, here in ny i just had to pass a background check and come up with the cash lol

Not sure that's a good thing either  Maybe a bit too easy!

In Canada you need a background check, wait a month or so, register it, get a hunting license..then you can hunt.A little different in the USA

Nice rifles to the two who have posted! Like the AK particularly. For me I have a Browning "Light 12" semi-automatic shot gun. It's been in the family for about 70 years and it belonged to my great grandfather. It was made in the USA which makes it a rather rare piece as most of them were made in Taiwan I believe. I'm an avid trap/skeet/bird shooter so its perfect for what I like to do. Still shoots strong for its age. Pics to come.

Here is a few. Sorry for the poor image quality. The Pad was charging.

Thanks man. It's a sweet little honey. It's not loud at all so you don't need ears on(although recommended, the DB level is low enough where you don't have to.) It shoots perfectly for being 70 years old. And you can just waste the 5 rounds it can hold as fast at you want.

if you voted for obama in 2008 to prove you werent a racist, you better vote for somebody else in 2012 to prove your not an idiot !!!

Interesting tag line....you should be careful what you wish for...being from Canada we watch US politics closely...IMHO Romney is very dangerous.

Easy now... we don't need to start any talk over politics. Especially when it doesn't even concern you or Canada.

I have 2x Mosin Nagant 91/30's (one sporterized, and one stock), Remington 1911R1, and a Colt Defender 1911 in 9mm.

I carry the Remington 1911 nearly everyday. Now that it's getting cold in Michigan, it's actually getting easier to carry.

Nice looking guns you guys have. I don't own any rifles, but I do have a Mossberg 12 gauge, Ruger LCR 38 Special(my wife's concealed carry gun), Taurus TCP .380(my concealed carry gun), and a Glock 23.

I'm not really a gun nut, but I was thinking about picking up an AR-15 before the prices got ridiculous over the past couple of months. I'm strongly considering picking up a Glock 19 to use as my primary concealed carry gun because the .380 is too small to fit comfortably in my hands.
