We could get as close as possible, which means, it would not have the wider track and would not have the engine, since the real has an 2.2 liter from the MR2. First, I thought about using the Castrol Supra, which would be the closest (wider track & 2 liter MR2-engine) but we cant paint it.

The ZR1 in the game has incorrect gearratios, no supercharger, incorrect suspension specs, wrong weight distribution, etc..and many of these specs can easily be found on the internet, so the difference is, that building the car this way, gets you closer to the real thing. Only problem is, that the real cars Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension can't be replicated in GT5. But alignment specs are correct according to the Chevrolet service manual.

Wow I didn't know that. Couldn't you have started with a base ZR1 and adjusted the things from there? Like you said it had the wrong suspension and gear ratios and the weight distrubuiton could be changed. I'm pretty sure it has a supercharger though. I'll have to drive my stock one and try to see if I get some supercharger wine out of it.

The ride height of custom suspensions set to 0 / 0 appears to be 15mm - 25mm lower than the stock suspension ride height. Does anyone else find this to be true? It seems to be accepted that sport and racing suspensions automatically lower ride height. Do you compensate for this when setting up your suspensions?
