Are you not interested in seeing what the team who have won the last three drivers and constructors championships will be racing this year? Surely you are.

I think any real F1 fans want to know. It's hard to watch F1 without the main team that's been there the last 3 years.

I think more the argument is sure people are interested but the RB9 is definitely not the most anticipated. Myself I'm more interested in what the teams I support come up with.

I'm not. I'm more interested in seeing what everyone else comes up with in the hopes that they can wipe the smirk off Vettel's face.

I mean, the car's going to be beautiful for sure, it's going to be fast, but we won't know how fast until qualifying starts in Melbourne. I'm just curious as to how much of a bluff they're going to put up or not in what they display with the new car, and whether they're finally tweak the liverly a little bit so people can someday tell the can actually pick the cars out by just looking at them. Livery's looked the same since the RB5. I know it's just supposed to be a huge Red Bull billboard but they can at least swap something on the scheme!

Also, I'd like to bet... that they're not running a modesty panel, either they're using the step again or going with a Sauber-like solution.

And the exhausts/rear of the sidepods are going to look a lot different than the rest.

It will be interesting to see if they have the first 'technical objection' in their design. You know, the rule bender everybody else wishes they had - if anyone will find one, Newey will.

They had at least four last year, so it wouldn't surprise me if they did.

They're smart enough so we'll see absolutely no signs of that in the unveiling if they want to keep it till season start. If there is something obviously "going on" with the car, I'll treat it as a big confident kick through the saloon doorway as some sort of intimidation method :D

Beautiful

I preferred the blue that was used before, but the purple accents add something new to the livery, instead of it being the same thing over and over again. Car wise, I'm not too sure what the changes are (though I'm sure there's million), but I'll need to look at the 2012 car side by side with this one.

Not another last years livery!

It's got a very droopy front part of the nose, looks like someone has sat on it.

I keep being right wtf Should I predict the WDC already? xD

Choosing not to use a full modesty panel, traditional livery tweak, and the interesting exhaust set up.

But anyway,
I'm loving the purple!!!!

And that video's just awesome as well, great way to unveil a car.

Well, it's their event. They can do whatever they want to. It's very poor by the media to not respect their rules.

EDIT: And from the pictures I have seen, it looks very, very similar to the RB8.

My guess is they don't want the rear to be exposed at all, or certain other sections. They've probably come up with something major back there with their configuration.

We'll see how it goes during the stream, it's in about 25 minutes.

Wasn't it meant to be nearly 40 minutes ago?

Anyway another image..

Just wait and see, we all know how similar the McLaren seemed on first impression.

Looking at this car and the side profile of the Ferrari F138, it's amazing how little bodywork these new cars have behind the driver, and how small those engines must be. It almost seems like there is only the suspension and a wing behind the driver, amazing! Especially the Ferrari's rear looks just incredible!
