You know, even though I myself feel like most of @Samus 's posts are negative, why can't you guys just take it for what it is, his opinion, and ignore it if it bothers you that much. đź’ˇ Its obvious you're not going to change his mind so just let him to his opinion and forget about it. Just a suggestion. đź‘Ť

@Samus You are annoying at times there mate , but even I am able to ignore you for the most part. :sly: You do have to expect at least a bit of negativity towards your posts when you post negative opinions about a game whose forum you're on...GT Fan site. It would do some good if you too just ignored those such people instead of engaging in arguments with them. There is a difference between an argument and a discussion and what I see here is just pointless arguing. That too is just a suggestion. đź‘Ť

I fully appreciate that people will not agree with what I have to say and some may challenge what I say with a counter point but yes, I do not appreciate the personal attacks with no substance to what I said and group bashing because of what I say. As for ignoring them i'm sure if people started attacking you personally you would also find it hard to just ignore.

But anyway yes, I'm moving on now, back to the track.

I'm very excited for the A-1 ring (Red Bull Ring) to come to GT6. In my opinion it's one of the few great GP tracks left that's still active. I can't wait to drive the 97T there!

Red Bull Ring will be a nice addition to the game, since it's a real world track, and will add some variety to the collection of tracks that are in the game.

I'm not sure why others say "Fix the game, then release content", when they should be able to do both. The game is pretty stable in terms of major bugs and glitches, and they should be able to fix issues like the camber bug, while working on new content and features. If the game was a broken mess like GT5 at launch and Battlefield 4, then their main focus should be on fixing bugs and glitches.

Yes, I admit that I do have a hard time but I'm working on it...that's all I'm suggesting all parties here do. So yes, lets get back to the exciting news about this track. đź‘Ť

I hope we get a TT event on it at some early point after its implemented, that would be awesome.

If the track is free that will mean Red Bull have subsidised/sponsored it so there is bound to be a Red Bull themed seasonal and unless the extremely unlikely happens (an F1 car is added) it's likely to feature one of the X cars. Maybe the X2014 standard car, since it's the closest of the bunch to an actual F1 car (but not very close, obviously).

Free/P2P, whatever. I'm actually still looking forward to the new VW and let's not forget about the Goodwood Statue. This is just icing on the cake.
Goodwood has been completely forgotten, good point.

I assumed a VW VGT TT at RBR, but what might GW hold?

I imagine that GW will come with at Mercedes time trial, since that is the marque who will be featured in this years statue. I'm gonna guess it'll probably be one of the Mercedes VGTs.

Knowing PD, we 'll get a TT using that RB Rally car on the tarmac.

Even that would be better than the RB cars in my opinion. I'm talking about the X2014's btw. I don't so much mind the Jr.'s, just not much love for the bigger car I'm afraid.

An update to the RB career events might happen, but is very unlikely, it being integrated into the game progression system.

Pics of 'Red Bull Ring' in 1080p (dunno why is cropped on RB's site):

At the bottom of the page it says

"Check back tomorrow, to watch an exclusive trailer and to find out all the details of the upcoming update."

All aboard!!!

Kaz should be leading that train in a C7 Corvette instead.

Regardless, Red Bull Ring was a fun enough track in GRID 2, so I can only imagine how much more fun it will be in GT6.

After watching a couple of the onboard laps on youtube I'm feeling a little disinterested. Track seems, well, bland. Only 9 turns, very wide and with 4 long straights. Seems like it would just be tediously slow in anything under 600pp. Guess we'll see. At least it'll mix up the online racing for a week.

EDIT: The one fun part will be watching everyone dive bomb/kamikaze the hard breaking sections and flying off into the sand traps.

It is a great circuit for racing cars, so a big thanks to PD and RB. And I think it will have weather change which is fundamental for this track. Epic races will be held online there if weather change is enabled.
