I'm getting it. Long time coming for dlc, considering some companies have 100's of dollars worth of dlc made before their game even hits the shelf, 12 bucks or whatever is a small price to pay. Voted Yes.
 
Any car will be awesome around Spa, but I reckon powerful RWD on poor tyres for endless four wheel drifts through those looooong bends.



Jag XJ13 / Ford Mk IV / Ferrari 330P4 would be epic but Cr.20m is just ridiculous. Standard E-type Jag might be fun as well but you couldn't guarantee everyone would have access to one.

Otherwise, the Lexus LFA might be good - let the V10 stretch it's legs. Ferrari 430 Stradale would be nice as it's one of the best balanced cars in the game IMO. BMW M5?

Going to be a great event regardless :sly:

Not sure why, but I've just been assuming spa will be used for week #36 in my own head, but thinking about it and the release date (mid week) it seems like it makes more sense to wait at least a week to allow proper admin testing and also for everyone to purchase and install the DLC.

My guess is that was the admin's master plan all along and I've been delusional thinking we could just rush into it.

That's what I was thinking aswell, my birthday's coming up next thursday (YAY, Spa b-day gift!!! :P)
So I will probably have it installed by saturday or something. Plus, I'm gonna need some practice.

Thanks, and I agree with you, that track layout looks amazing.

Anyway, if Spa should pop up next week I wouldn't mind, it was just a suggestion.

If it's not 36, it will be 38. I'm gone the weekend of the week 37 combo, and selfishly, I'm not going to put a combo up at Spa if I don't have time to run it. ;)

I was thinking of extending the deadline for the current week's event, and then again for that event, so we can take advantage of the new track while it's new.

Not sure that there will be any bugs to work out. Just need to run a few laps to see where potential shortcut areas might be and spell out what's allowed. Not really different than any other week.

Seconded (thanks Chris)!!! I'm back on November 3 in Aus so I think I'll be in for the second half of week 38...
 
Its a rare oppurtunity a brand new track to everyone TT and that makes it a real special TT and thats why I will probably buy the DLC.

I would be much less inclined to particapate if the TT starts weeks after the DLC is available and others have had a chance to figure the track out already.

I wont practice for a TT myself. TTs are for practice.:)

Jack, I see your point, but for some of us, myself included, we already know Spa very well, so if anything, people that want to learn it because they don't know it will have more time to do so.
And we're only talking 2 weeks.:)

I agree having it this week would be more of a celebration/special event, but I want as many people as possible to participate so I think week 38 would be best. I get the feeling some big guns will show up for this one.
 
Putting some practice in now so that I can be half decent when Spa comes around :D

Week 38 will suit me - I've only had 3 days of wheel use!

Because I've just bought a wheel having DS3'd forever up until now, so practice as in practice with the wheel, rather than practice on the track. I know the track quite well anyway but it's not that which I need, it's to not be a total n00b with a steering wheel..... 💡
