My 18 yr old son (who usually plays Zombie games, FPS, JRPGs and the like) saw me playing the other night and said, "Whoa - you have to race a train???"

I let him "replay" the race after I won and now he's hooked. My Drivatar was his first head-to-head race opponent and last night when I got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, he was still up playing. Good boy.

So uh, I just found these by Ormiston Gorge while trying to take some scenery photos.

It seems like gibberish, but these have to be there for some reason, right?

Good father, thy name is @ykiki.

Unless you have the content on your console, I don't think you can buy it from the Auction House yet.
Is that so? I was able to drive the Warthog for the bucket list challenge. It's at least worth a try!

I wonder if it's possible someone else entered your code by mistake? Maybe they have a code that is very similar to yours, they made a mistake in entering it, and entered your code instead? But because they got their Wartog, they never even realized they entered their code wrong.
That's a valid point, but I'm not too concerned over it. I feel like the Warthog is like the Chryslus Rocket in FM6, it's a fun novelty for a while and then it just sits in your garage, rarely to be used again.

I don't know, maybe I'm wrong and the Warthog is a ton of fun to drive! I'll try to buy one from the auction house later today and see if that works.

Ah, didn't realize it was already in the base game. Since they where giving out codes for it like DLC, I figured it would fall under the same category.

Yeah, I think that the codes were just a way to obtain the car. It may be paid DLC at a later date, like the Ford GTLM in FM6.

I bought one in the auction house and I genuinely enjoy driving it. That 4-wheel steering in races is godly. It just seems like, for a military vehicle, there sure is a lot of brightwork on it. If you do buy one, be sure to listen to Warren's description once you've claimed it. It's hilarious.

Here's a weird one we've been hashing out on Forzacentral. T10 has removed the chrome trim from the '53 Corvette (it was standard equipment) and made it an option under "side skirts" in the upgrades. Not sure of the thinking there.

I haven't had a chance to check out my '53 in the garage yet. I'm going to have to look at that tonight. That's very odd. Was the trim removable in FH2? I don't recall.

Huh, found a funny glitch with the Challenger Hellcat:

When buying wider tires, the first size up is supposed to be 295/30R 20 on the back. Someone hit the wrong key, and it's actually 395, while the furthest-right option is a measly 355.

This game is so much fun. 👍 Bought a few hot hatches, including the 2010 Megane RS and I can say for that last one the sound is very similar to how the real car sounds. Kudos for T10/Playground there. :)

Auction house is fun too, very nice to be able to snatch cars that would cost a lot more at the dealership.

Nice! Gonna see if i can get the app later and and get a hopeful headstart as well 👍
Well having only the Forza Hub app doesn't really help.

You need to do things in Forza games. The Hub just shows you your progress and which things you need to unlock or complete.

It looks better without it. It would help making race liveries if all cars could have their trim/badges etc removed.

Is it cheating that I like using the one:1 with 4wd for speed traps? I've actually been using that car more than I did in FM6.
My plate is TDU505 if anyone understands/knows what game that's from.
With "TDU" I'm guessing Test Drive Unlimited, but unfortunately I missed that game. Being that I've got relatives from Oahu, I keep kicking myself - how in the world did I not play this game????

Whoever won my Regera on the auction house, you got it for a damn cheap price.. It was a steal. If i recall 210k >.>, i bought another one later, for 268k, since i really liked the color

Definitely do so if the opportunity arises. TDU really set a bar with its gigantic map, stellar car list, bringing in OEM options for cars to make them more personal, and the addition of having to buy homes (with different garage designs to showcase your cars) to support your collection. There was even a race track placed in the map. Only downside I had with the game were some of the lego-brick terrain, and the wasted amount of map space due to a lack of off-road vehicles. For some reason, I never played TDU:2 and seems not a lot of others did, either.

But Horizon 3 visually has the spirit of TDU in it. Great, various scenery, excellent car roster & lots of of modifications to make something your own. If the game just had personal homes instead of the Hub garage, it'd basically be a carbon copy.

I bet there's a lot of excited people that have the standard edition, ready to play some FH3. :)

There's nothing like getting off of work on Monday, hopping in the 22B STI with the S1 body kit upgrade option, and listening to "Smack my 🤬 up" by The Prodigy. 👍

Thanks @McLaren - if I find myself in possession of a PS2 once more or the game hits the Backwards Compatibility list, I'll give it a try. With a username like "ykiki" you'd think I'd be all over an Oahu game.
